I'm getting married!!

We'll be getting married at One Atlantic in Atlantic City in October.

We announced it to our families on Easter. I've already purchased my dress, shoes, and tiara. I'm scouring Etsy for bouquets, cake toppers, invitations, etc. It's going to be a small wedding. My colours are turquoise and lime/chartreuse... peacock colours! I'm going to have peacock feathers in my bouquet and on the invitations.

Congratulations! I've never heard of having Peacock feathers in a bouquet before. It sounds lovely though, very unique and together with the color of your dress I'm sure you'll look amazing.

My niece is getting married next year and is struggling to come up with unique ideas. I’ll certainly tell her about this. Would love to see some pictures too…

Have your niece look on Etsy for peacock wedding stuff. They've got invitations, bouquets, garters, centerpieces, all other papergoods, hair accessories, shoes, purses, etc. Even if she doesn't decide on a peacock theme, Etsy has tons of original, handmade stuff that you won't find anywhere else.

October 1st. Since I couldn't get married in Disney World, I'm getting married on Disney World's birthday.

Ooohhh, we were married October 3rd (1981), We went to Disney for our honeymoon, but back then there was only the one park.
