I'm planning a family trip to WDW for October. Already my brain is focusing on what to eat when we are there.

This will the first trip for my younger dd. She will be 5 at the time. Older dd has been there once.

I'm planning on breakfast at Boma, Kona Kafe (again), Crystal Palace (again), Cinderella's Royal Table (I hope).

Lunch 50's Prime time cafe (again) Le Cellier (again)

I'm planning on having dinner at Boma (again, but first time for either kid), Spoodles (again), Flying Fish (again only grown ups)

I know I have a lot of repeats on my list. What are your must do restaurants? What to you love about them?

the plaza restaurant in MK is very good; also in the same park is pecos bill for counter service. just about any of the restaurants in world showcase are great! garden grill at the land is served family style and has a good character interaction. we really like lecellier and discovered alfredo's in december. one your children might enjoy is teppanyki in japan. this is a lot like benihana's. beaches and cream at the beach club has great burgers and sundaes. over at MGM we like hollywood brown derby. again your children might enjoy looking at the photos of stars from years gone by. tusker house in AK is great for breakfast and lunch. at downtown disney house of blues has really good food. we went for lunch and no wait. wolfgang puck express is good and serves breakfast! at fort wilderness, trails end buffeteria has a very good dinner buffet(we are trying the breakfast one in june). at wilderness lodge whispering canyon cafe is great for breakfast; we do not care for it too much for dinner. we really enjoy artist point also at wl. ooohhh..have you thought about taking the girls to the grand floridian for afternoon tea?! they would have a delightful time there. my husband will even go for tea! LOL well, that is about all i can come up w/now. happy eating.:p

A few of our must-do's have been Brown Derby, Wolfgang Puck Express, and Garden Grill but there are also several places that we would love to return to like Le Cellier, Artist Point and Fulton's.

We love the Brown Derby for two reasons: Cobb Salad and grapefruit cake. It is wonderful. We like to go there for lunch on almost every trip.

Wolfgang Puck Express is a favorite of ours because it is relatively inexpensive for some pretty darn good food. It is a nice change of pace from the other counter service type places.

Garden Grill is our favorite character meal. We love the food and the character interaction here is always the best IMHO.

Le Cellier was a particular favorite of my DH's. He swears it was the best steak he has ever had. I liked the atmosphere and the food is pretty good.

Artist Point has wonderful food and I love the atmosphere of the WL. DH loves trying ostrich and I LOVE the berry cobbler.

Fultons' was another big favorite of my DH's. I really like it as well but he was in heaven since he loves seafood (especially crab). We got some kind of big platter for two and while it was expensive we just can't get that kind of seafood in Missouri.

It's the repeat restaurants that make it so hard for us to try new ones.

Next trip we are repeating these must do's:

California Grill - it's just divine and my favourtie by far, food, view and service are all perfect

Fultons - Had a great meal here the fish tastes so fresh can't wait to try new dishes.

Liberty Tree Tavern - for dinner, just lots of fun and the food isn't bad either

Cape May Cafe - best breakfast buffet on-site. All the items seem so fresh and hot. Great fruit selection.

Hopefully we're gonna be trying some new places as well that will soon figure on this list - but to be honest I'm hard pressed to find a Disney restaurant that I won't go back to :teeth:
