I gave up the dialup for DSL (and I get to keep AOL too ...I know, I know, some of you guys hate AOL, but I'm a die-hard, what can I say )

adding the DSL service and dropping the extra phone line cost is just about an even swap. As others say: "I can't believe how much faster it is" Woo-HOOOOOOO!!

I don't suppose that hooking your laptop up to my cable modem last month had anything to do with your decision. I had to help someone reconfigure their modem based connection last night. I figured out why they don't surf the web. Yikes. Modems are fine for email, but I don't think that I could survive without my broadband connection.

Another one here that don't know how I lived without it before...then again , I had no option because it just wasn't available in the area. I have it for almost 3 weeks now and loving every minute of it except for when it goes down, the company still has some glitches.
