I'm filling out the paperwork now...what is a W -9 form

I'm not sure what to put some of the boxes like business name..do i put my job in there? My name social and address and acount number are allready filled in by DVC...please help I'm confused with this one.

Thank you!!! I was so excited when I opened the box lol. Everything else was easy to fill out and I understand,I just don't get the w-9 thing...it has to with taxes which I am clueless about.

I have OCD really bad lol so it is driving me nuts that it's the only thing I have not signed yet besides the notarized form,we are doing that on Monday.

A W9 is just a Taxpayer identification form. All it's trying to do is identify you, you social security number, address, etc. You don't need the business name field unless you are operating as a business entity and purchased DVC from your business.

Ok so all I have to do is sign that form,fill nothing else out?

The W9 is a request for tax payer id. If everything is correct on the form, you need to do nothing but sign it. Generally when a business needs a persons or companys tax id, they send a blank form. DVC printed a completed form for you.

I'm guessing you financed with Disney and they need this form signed so they can send you the mortgage interest tax form.
