It's my sons 21st birthday today
and i am feeling very happy and old at the same time!!
where do all the years go???
It only seems like yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital
And i'm only 41!!!

You're only as old as you feel but I know what you mean I feel older with each birthday of my two DDs than I do when it's actually my own birthday, if that makes sense.

I'm going to be 30-11 in January (sorry I can't bring myself to say 41).

Anyway at the end of the day it's how you feel, and I still feel like a mad 17 year old some times (but there again sometimes I feel like a right old fogie when I don't know who 'Green Day' are - I had to ask DD).

I am convinced there is a printing mistake on my birth certificate and that all my memories prior to 1983 are the result of a bizarre scientific experiment from which I have miraculously been released.

Anyway I now have tri-colour hair and tickets to Green Day so I can't be old
