I'm Engaged!!!!

Hi everyone,

I am just so excited...I couldn't resist creating a new thread. My boyfriend took me up to the top of the Empire State building this evening. I didn't think much of it because he said he needed photos for an upcoming project. (He is finishing his masters in computer art in NYC) After snapping a few pics, he starts telling me how special our time together has been to him (7 years and counting). He said that he feels as if he is on top of the world...and he couldn't have done it without me. Then, he knelt down and asked for my hand in marriage. It was such a beautiful surprise. After a few pics, we went home to get ready for the second part of our unforgettable evening. We got all dressed up and had dinner at the River Cafe on the East River in Brooklyn. It was absolutely magical. The view of Manhattan is breath-taking at night. We just got home and I am still on cloud 9. When I get the pics uploaded from my camera, I will post them. The ring is gorgeous...the proposal was beyond my wildest dreams...and now I get to marry my best friend and true love. I am truly lucky! Thanks for listening...
