I'm Embarrassed to even ask this... autograph books

I'm leaving for the CBR in two weeks. I want to collect autographs. I'm 22. Do any adults do this. Or will I be looked at funny by the characters? My sister who is 12 is going to collect autographs. Would it be weird? I'm so embarrassed even asking, I don't want to look like a complete idiot at the parks.

Trust me - you WILL NOT be the only adult getting autographs! In WDW, we're all kids!!! I'm 35 and I ask for autographs - it's fun!! Go for it!

My husband and I collected autographs on our disney honeymoon! We had a blast! Everyone does it.. I know a lot of adults do it to give the book to a kid.. or to keep for their selves! I have met a ton of adults getting autographs with out kids... you will be fine! Go have fun!

u go girl! get those autographs I am bringing my ollllllllld autograph book from when i was a kid. planning on getting a few more siggies in there! and each of my kids will have th eir own autograph books this year. (and look out, when i see cruella, the kids can hang back while mum gets the 1st siggy. LOL)

I LOVE getting autographs/photos with the characters, and I am almost 21. I have so much fun doing it too. Trust me- you will not be the only adult doing that. Have fun!

I am not going to tell you how old I am (more then double your age) and I love getting autographs. Lately I have been having the characters sigh other things instead of the book. I have had them sign a t-shirt (It must be off your body) a khaki shoulder bag and a tote bag. I bring all color sharpie pens with me & they work great.

Thanks so much for your replies! I feel so much better now. I can't wait to go to Disney, it's my first trip in ten years. One of my favorite memories from my first trip was getting my autograph book, I still have it.

Autographs and pics of my DD9 with the characters is one of my favorite things about the parks. I think I like it more than she does... but I'm the one with the camera, so she's in the pics!

My boyfriend and I collected autographs and lots of pics with characters it is one of my favourite things to do! We were 18 and 17 at the time so it's prettymuch the same thing!!! Its fun! have fun!

Well, as seen in my signature here, all I do is get autographs!! And I am no kid, I'll just say in my mid-30's. I love meeting characters and getting autographs so much that I wrote up an 150 page website dedicated just to them! So don't worry at all - the characters are quite used to us grown-ups in their lines!

Wow, Colleen, that's so awesome! Definitely get the autographs if you want to. In Disney World, everyone's a kid again! Case in point? On our last trip, I wore a plastic tiara that I found in one of the Disney shops around the entire time. It even lit up and everything! I'm 18 now, and I plan on wearing it again on the next trip. I'm a princess when I'm in Disney World so why not, right? Anyway, have fun, and enjoy your trip!
