We are leaving for the 15 hour drive down there on Friday A.M., staying the night in Tallahassee and checking in on Saturday!!!!

Sorry for leaving you hanging! I am still in the "we're home, and I'm depressed about that" stage. We haven't downloaded pictures yet, but we had a wonderful time. We took my parents with us. They were DVC members while I grew up, and they have since sold. Since we bought points (me and DH), we thought it would be fun to take them back. They had a blast!

We stayed at BWV for 5 nights and then switched to BLT for one night. The BWV refurb was fantastic, and we were all thrilled. BWV is our home resort. It rained a couple of afternoons, but we always seemed to be indoors, on our way back for a rest or something, so we missed them! It was hot, and we're from Texas. It has been 95+ at home, so we thought we were "ready" but we forget that the humidity is a nasty addition. We drank lots of water and went back for rests from about 1-6. It worked great. We did everything we wanted several times and even some extras. It was getting crowded, but not unmanageable as long as you get to the parks early and use Fastpass.

We enjoyed BLT. They met our request for a North Side, even-numbered room. Even with a standard view, we could see Space mountain and the castle. We loved TOTWL.

DH saw the Main Street Electrical Parade for the first time. We enjoyed it, but we find Spectro to be more magical. It just proves to me that you like what you experience first/have emotional ties to. While we didn't care for the music to the new fireworks more than the Wishes music, we thought the new actual fireworks were really cool. Much better view from TOTWL than in the park.

I cried when we left. I always hate that part. I am happy you are dancing and hope these details were enjoyable! :goodvibes

We are leaving tomorrow morning for the first leg of our drive and checking in Saturday afternoon and boy oh boy are we excited!!!

We are from Texas as well....the Houston area, which typically is quite humid and hot. This is our first summer trip to WDW so I am mentally preparing myself for the hot/humid onset.

At least you have the humidity to practice with in Houston. We are in Waco, and it is NOT humid like Houston or Florida. Have a safe trip and have fun!

We have one night, June 26th at BWV before going to VB, so we're 10 days away!:banana::banana:

I arrive in Disney at teh BWV on June 27th so I have 9 more wake ups till I'm there!!!

Hi Tinks "SS",
