Ahhhh What a fun interaction with Gaston. I can imagine his dismay with your spunk! Love it! He does look a little miffed in the last photo.

I totally get the grannie shuffle and dodging the rain. I had to do that in flip flops so I had to be careful not to slip/fall.

Oh, glad you go to see the BC. It really is a lovely resort.

Such a fun update! LOL - Gaston is just hilarious. But some people find him attractive? Really??? He tried to kill the Beast! I'm sorry, I am so NOT Team Gaston.

I am not a huge Apple juice fan, but the Le Fou's brew was really good! You'll have to see if you can taste test it next time, maybe.

I am glad the CM was so cool about letting you have them stay without paying extra!

I miss POP! I actually really liked the resort! Of course I love others, but POP is a nice resort!

Haven't met Gaston, but I have watched the interactions and they really are hysterical. I'm with ya though, evil Disney characters in the parks = good, evil Disney characters outside the parks = bad.

Wow, that's actually pretty cool of them to make extra keys and not charge for the extra people. Yay Disney!

I will have to say that if you don't like apple juice you are not going to like Le Fou's Brew. It was very applely (yes I make up words) tasting. I didn't really care for it because it was soooo sweet.

Great interaction with Gaston! One of these days I'm going to stand in line to meet him.

Yuck on the rain and long bus wait. Glad you were able to add your friends on to your room for the night.

Haha, what a hilarious M&G with Gaston! When I meet him, I'm going to be just as sassy to him. Except, he'll probably get upset with me and it will be a showdown. Gaston v. Timmy... okay I'm getting a little off-topic here. I guess I'll just have to get that darn room booked one of these days so I can assure myself that this Gaston showdown is happening

To me, it seems like the buses are always super slow and unreliable. But that's coming from someone who tends to drive everywhere, so I might be biased. At least a Pop bus eventually arrived and you made it back to the resort.


I can only imagine Gaston's reaction to someone actually talking back to him. Bet it was a nice little addition to his day.


Ooh, the Beach Club is so pretty...yet so confusing! Alex and I got lost the first time we went to Beaches and Cream. Speaking of....is that where you're headed? It's totally worth the visit while at the resort.
Heck it's worth the visit even if you're NOT at the resort.

I've been reading your old trip reports over the past week and I loved them. I am all caught up on this one now and can't wait to hear more.

I don't know if I could go on a trip alone, but it sounds like you are having a great time! I'm glad you got to spend time with friends.

I was 21 the first time I went to WDW and I had always wanted to go as a child, so I know how you felt when you FINALLY got to go.

Great update! Loved the interaction with Gaston! I agree with you, I don't find him attractive in the least bit. In fact, the movie version of him is disgusting. Yeah he's a great villain, but he's gross!

Ahhh, my Beach Club! I miss it so much! I wish I could live there! Isn't the villas section pretty? I like how it's kind of secluded from the parking lot and main BC building, it's just so perfect!
