I love the animation class at DHS! I usually do it a few times a trip and so far I have been lucky enough to only draw pretty classic characters. It seems like they are really branching out with the new characters lately though.

I'm sorry about TSM not working properly, especially since it is your favourite! We had one of the shooters not working properly on our last trip so my mom didn't get a lot of points for what she did. It was a bit of a bummer, but like you we don't really care about the points (unless my brother is present )

Your dinner at Mama Melrose's looks delicious. I've read a lot of great things about that restaurant - I might just have to try it some day!

Yay updates!!

Well, your drawing is STILL better than anything I could do. I think the Phineas and Ferb trivia team just syked you out. They're a crafty bunch!

Hmmm, I think that TSM is one of those Disney rides that they're scared to shut down for maintenance. I had problems on it as well a month before... which of course I blame for my horrible score.

I wonder why you recognized Elliott Gould? I guess that will remain a mystery...

LOL, of course you would recognize Eliot Gould! I had an ADR for that restaurant years ago, but I think it was on our last day, and we ended doing a QS instead because, you know. We wanted to get the most out of our last day.

I love your Agent P, I think his facial expression perfectly reflects how you felt about drawing him.

Weird about TSM, too bad you were on your way to your ADR or maybe you could have got an extra ride?

I don't know that I've ever seen photos of Mama Melrose before! Your pizza looks good to me, I find as I age I actually like spicier foods more and more. I think that's the opposite of most people. Too bad you didn't like it too much though

That is so strange how you got a whole class that was all about Phineas and Ferb and Perry the Platypus. I love Phineas and Ferb the show and Perry as much as any Disney lover, but I never thought of it as a widespread thing. Most I know think it's the worst show on Disney Channel (which it is FAR from), but I guess there is a crazy fan club and they infiltrated your art class But I agree, I would've much preferred to draw Jiminy or Buzz (Jiminy for me, because he's awesome and reminds me of Spectro <3)

Awwww, don't feel bad about TSM. I'm pretty bad too (well compared to most DISers) and every time I think I do well, someone manages to do better. And do not even get me started on Buzz... Again, I'm digressing. That's so cool that Mr. Spell was on though, I don't think I've seen him on either! :O Really hope those people weren't trying out TSM for the first time because that is so rare for the ride to go all whackadoo.

Love GMR so much! And I totally agree, seeing people's reactions on that ride: Priceless. It also never gets old for me since I feel braver every time I ride since the first time I literally almost sat on the floor of the vehicle during the Alien part haha Now I laugh in his face! MWAHAHA

The food at Mama Melrose's looks really good! I love a lot of my meat on my pizza so it sounds like my thing. That's so funny about the Citizens of Hollywood coming in. Never seen that happen with any of the Streetmosphere performers.

Also, in case you didn't know or just glazed over this, when the lady said, "Nobody puts baby in a corner" she was referencing the famous line from Dirty Dancing not being sassy because I know those performers tend to do that (they are the Citizens of Hollywood, of course). Great movie if you haven't seen it

Thanks, yall! I really appreciate it. I am currently on my parents' desktop computer, so I will be able to post the next update since I emailed it to myself! I have all of the updates done through day 3, so I'll be able to post them, at least! Hopefully I'll be able to get some time to write out the rest of them here soon. I feel terrible that I haven't been able to keep up with everyone's updates, but I'm hoping to be able to do that soon. Once again, so sorry. Thanks for sticking with me! Yall are the best.

Your Agent P looks like Agent P so I would say you were successful!

Ahhhhh ..... I can hear that TSM soundtrack now. It would be so much better to be stuck while the targets are racking up points like it does for the Buzz Lightyear ride. I've seen the ride reset the target values to zero when it stops wand I just take a break since I need to rest my shooting hand!

Your Streetmosphere encounter at Mama Melrose's reminds me of when I saw a couple of those character in the dump shop after ToT and they were trying on the themed bath robes and trying to dress incognito. They were hilarious and were getting the guests in the shop to help dress them so they could be "undercover" They are so perfect!

Yeah, I've never seen Phineas and Ferb, and I don't even know what it's about, but I do think it's odd that a character from a random Disney Channel show would be an option.

What happened to you on TSM is so weird! I'm a little surprised they didn't give you guys Fastpasses for your troubles, but oh well.

I've never been to Mama Melrose's but it looks good! I've never seen Streetmosphere performers in a restaurant either! That's pretty cool, though.

I ended up in an animation class with Agent P and I was equally lost. I had NO idea what they were talking about. Plus I, like you, had trouble drawing a character I am not really familiar with. I wanted to start all over again.

Pretty cool that the streetmosphere actors came inside Mama Melrose. I would have enjoyed that,

I enjoyed the five seconds of being stuck on Toy Story Midway Mania so much that I played it three times.

Lou Mongello just did two episodes on Great Movie Ride, if you want to know lots about it.

Mama Melrose seems to get a bad rap from some, but we liked the one meal we had there.

I love the Animation area! Agent P is soooo popular, its crazy! I really do love that show too though. And I love Perry. I would've preferred drawing Buzz too...hello, classic and perfect! Love that space ranger!

I read someone else recently had to draw Agent P in the animation class (I think is was MEK, but don't quote me.) I wonder why he's such a popular choice? I'd be totally lost, because I have not seen one episode of the show. I've heard nothing but good things about, and I recognize the characters, I just haven't gotten around to checking it out. (Plus, a part of me is boycotting animated television shows right now, because I know in such a short while I'll have to watch them all the time with Landon. )



I can't believe TSMM was having those difficulities. It sounds really weird. It'd be understandable if the ride just stopped and you couldn't shoot at any targets, but to have the bullseyes say 0???
It's a good thing you don't take that game too seriously. I'm sure there were some guests riding that were getting upset at losing their scores.

I am fore-warning you that due to my complete lack of Dis commenting on this wonderful TR, this will be a ridiculous & basically necessarily long comment, so you may skip over this until you have time to read a short novel, you are welcome.

Let me start out with, THIS WAS THE DAY I WAS ARRIVING! It still breaks my heart that we were unable to have a meet-up I am interested in seeing where you were while I was wherever I was & see if we WALKED BY EACHOTHER or something!

AHHH. The first full day excitement! I can feel it now!

I understand when you say that it is your least favorite park, but it's actually perfect, just you love it different than the other ones! I get it! That's how I feel about EPCOT. Not that it isn't perfect in every single way!

Oh boy, everyone read your mind & said I WANNA GO TO DHS WITH MARISSA! WOO! 40 minutes is crazy! That's unfortunate They probably didn't expect the explosion of people wanting to do EMH! At least you got a FP!<3

I knew this wouldn’t be my only morning at DHS, so I decided to do things a little bit different on this particular day! Instead of rushing off to Sunset Boulevard like I knew everyone else would be doing, I stayed right where I was and decided to do something new: The Legend of Jack Sparrow!

OMG. We are the same! We did The Legend of Jack Sparrow too this time, I was curious as to what in the heck it was, cause I had like basically no clue.
But POTC movies are in my top 10, so you know, Jack Sparrow is my husband, & I figured I should say hello!
I had never done the Narnia thing, because I heard it was such a waste of time. At least you are there to prove I didn't not go on it & regret it! Sorry Narnia?

Of course you have what it takes, & we all know you aren't kidding about the CHUMPS! They can't handle it! ARGGGHHHH!

I AM ALSO TERRIFIED OF THOSE MERMAIDS. But I couldn't force myself to pull my eyes away from their creepy bodies on the walls. *SHUDDERS*

I asked about 6 people around me if that was an actual person, cause with my diminishing eyesight & my Disney brain, I literally could not tell if it was a real person or a projection!

OMG. TSM TIME. I CAN'T!

I am with you on that, I am sometimes good & sometimes bad but either way it is always so much dang fun! TSM RULES YAAAALLL!!

However I get very competitive, so I could see us in a ride vehicle, you laughing & enjoying the fabulous ride & me dislocating my shoulder & popping a lung,

I wonder what the heck was going on with TSM? Interesting.
I mean, I wouldn't complain about getting stuck on TSM either, but too bad you couldn't have been racking up those points!

The GMR CM was probably like, "I just got done saying no flash photography & this girl is trying to take my dang picture!?!"

YAY FOOD! I never ate at Mama Melrose’s, but heard it was pretty good.

I'm very competitive with that ride, so I probably would not have been happy with no scoring!

We ate at mama Melrose once. I liked it, but hubs did not. It's so cute in there though!!

That happened to us on TSM too although not as long. We got a little extra time with the practice targets on the ride too when it stopped for a bit. They were 0 points as well.

I would hate to do Agent P too! Phineus and Ferb is not our disney as we know it!

I never knew that etch a sketch was new in the TSM line! I took a pic of it this past trip but didn't know that!
