I'm Doing A Split Stay - Ticket Question

I ordered the tickets online. I'm gonna ask the CM checking me in to put the tickets on my room key. But what do I do when I'm at my 2nd resort?

If they put your tickets on your 1st hotel room key.....
You can still use that for tickets at hotel 2....
You'll have to carry 2 keys......but the dates on it will
let you know which one is to use.

A heads up for you...this year in April, we did a short split stay, leaving AKL for WL. Entered MK with the "expired" key with no problem at the turnstiles, but upon going back in for EMH that evening (same "expired" key), we were almost told we could not come in! I unfortunately had left the keys for WL back at the resort and offered to go back, wanting the CM to understand that I was NOT trying to cheat my way in...she did finally say it was ok to enter.
Just glad we didn't have to go back to retrieve the correct key card!

Once you have switched resorts, the CM's at Guest Services can move the tickets from your old room key to new ones for you.

This is assuming that the first reservation is a package with tickets and the second reservation is room only.

I too am doing split stay (WL and Poly). I will have 9day tickets and dining on the WL and 1 day and dining at the Poly. Will I be able to transfer the remaining park days to the Poly card? I would prefer not to carry 3 cards around.

No you won't. Since both are package stays and the Poly 1 night w/dining requires a minimum one day ticket purchase as well, you cannot combine another ticket - new or used - with that new one day. Any remaining park admissions on your WL card will have to be used off that KTTW. Your only other option is splitting the ticket onto a separate KTTW (or paper ticket if done at Guest Relations) but you'll still have to carry two separate items either way.

If the stay at your second resort was a room only and had no tickets attached to it, then you could have the unused days from your first resort's KTTW moved to your new KTTW.

A quick suggestion. Make the 9 day ticket at WL into a 10 day ticket and save the 1 day ticket on the Poly reservation for another trip. It will cost $3 to make it a 10 day and you will save the $71.36 1 day ticket for another time. That one day ticket will not expire. During Disney's first free dining we had APs but still bought the 1 day tickets that were required for the package. We used the 1 day tickets to buy new APs a few months later.
