yesterday at school (nursing school), about half my class was getting the cafeteria's Cream of Asparagus soup...so I got it too. It was REALLY good.

I love it, even the kind out of the Campbell's can! Though I've sometimes worried about the fact that I go through stages of daily craving for canned asparagus (without the soup) for some unknown reason, so you might want to disregard my opinion!

Someone mentioned crab and asparagus soup, which is even better! That's something all the Chinese restaurants in the DC area have that I can't find around here.

You know what's really good? Cream of Asparagus and Crab soup. One of our local taverns serves this occasionally, and it's great with a cold draft beer. Okay. Now I'm getting hungry.

Please tell me where this tavern is!! I would like to check it out when I visit my old stomping grounds. I love anything made with asparagus and the crab addition sounds yummy!!

well, if I liked asparagus, I am sure I would enjoy CoAS as much as I enjoy Cream of Broccoli Soup!

I eat it when it doesn't come from a can. Panera does a pretty good job of it, Einstein Bagels has a good one, too.

Leave me out of the pickled beets, please. Though Grape soda turns something green for DH-bright neon green.

Now I wanna see if either place has it and go for lunch tomorrow!
