I'm curious. What is...

It's hidden discretely in New Orleans Square - there's a little sign next to the door with the number 33 written on it. It took me ages to find it last year and I knew what I was looking for (though not its precise location) :)

It has a few perks - a restaurant, some exclusive merchandise, alcohol and the ability to ride the railroad in the Lily Belle car (A few people - myself included - have kindly been offered this last privilege without being members, although I thought I read somewhere that this is no longer allowed).

It's also very expensive to join and has a huge waiting list of many years.

Club 33 got it's name when Walt needed to apply for a liquor license for his private club. He did not want a license in Disneyland's name, so he applied by putting the address down: 33 Royal St......so came the name Club 33.

It is a private club that Walt wanted to entertain friends & dignataries. It is a member-only club with a waiting list of 15 years. The list was closed a few years back because of the size of the list.

Here is Wikipedia's description including fees:

We had the privledge of standing in the lobby during a tour & got to hear a lot of history of the club. We even were pointed out balconies thru-out NOS where the club is. It was beautiful from what we saw.
