We did the Fantasmic package 2 yrs ago (June, mind you). We showed up 40 minutes before the show, and were informed that the reserved seating was filled. We tried to stand behind the wheelchair section, but were made to move because we were in the way. We had to stand in the "standing" section. Just before the show, they filled in the entire walkway in front of us. DH and I spent 45 minutes staring at peoples backs with DS8 and DD3 on our shoulders! Last summer, we skipped the package, skipped the first show, and went to the second show. We had extremely short lines for most rides while the show was going on, and then had great seats for the show with only a 15 minute wait before they opened the gate. IMHO... the package isn't worth anything!

I think that the package is a waste. You can get better seating arriving early than you will with the package. Even with the package, if you dont arrive early you may not get a seat and be forced to stand. I would cancel the package if I could, but keep the adr at Mama Melrose, it is a very good restaurant

If you are cancelling the F! package then you are much better off eating somewhere else. The only reason to eat at Mama's is for the package. The food and service there are notoriously bad.

About two years ago, we did the Fantasmic package with Hollywood and Vine, we enjoyed it. We could sit anywhere we wanted to in the 'Reserved section,' it was so empty when we got there. The only complaint that we have is that people push and cramp you in so much while you are sitting there that it is hard to enjoy the show. We are doing it again in January, again at Hollywood and Vine.
