Everytime we go to Disneyland, I say this phrase as we get closer. By the time we've arrived, I've probably said it a dozen times. My kids just roll their eyes and giggle, seeing Mom so excited over Mickey Mouse. Well, we drive down to see him tonight, so I thought I'd shout it publicly. "I'm coming Mickey! Can't wait to see you!!!"
How about you? Do you do anything crazy like that? Please share, and make me feel better. (And, it will help pass the time til I pick the kids up from school.) :)

How funny! I was just singing the Micky Mouse Club song. My Daughter is learning it to. DH thinks were nuts. MIC (see ya real soon!) KEY (why because we like you) MOUSE!

Well I don't have any crazy sayings but when my DH and I booked our trip three months ago I have asked him just about every night to "ask me a question about Disneyland"
I have been to DLR a couple of times and he's never been so I consider myself an expert(especially now that I'm a member of disboards) and get a kick out of answering his questions. He doesn't enjoy asking them though because he wants to be surprised.

First day of training, our trainers keep sing the Pirate of Carabean song... you know... Yo Ho yo ho!

oh yeah ...I cant even sleep the night before; Im so excited :rotfl: I say Mickey Im coming to see you or Im going home or something like that...also as soon as I get off the ball road exit, I start yelling IM HOOOOOOOME :woohoo: my daughter looks at me like Ive lost my mind  she tells me I act like a child in a disgusted voice :lmao:

Thanks, everyone, for helping make my wait easier today. I have enjoyed smiling and chuckling at your responses. "An hour and a half, Mickey, and I'll be on my way. I'm coming!!!"

Well I ONLY have 175 days left. :hourglass After waiting 7 years it is SSOOOOO exciting :woohoo: My kids think I'm crazy but I have a countdown calander on my wall! Time is gonna FLY!

I made a CD of disney songs and I play it on the way to DL. This way it gets me excited by the time I've almost reached the park! My boyfriend goes: "Dear Lord! We're going to hear that music all day, why are you listening to it now?" :rotfl:

OMG... I am glad that I am not the only one that can't sleep the night before.... I think that we get more excited than the kids do! My cell phone has lots of disney songs in it and I switch them to my ringer when it get's close to our trip... Only 52 more days until Disneyland!!!!! :tigger:

Don't laugh!!! I thought I started smelling popcorn at school today!!!! :rotfl: I mean it! I asked my students if they smelled anything, and they thought I was crazy.

One night until we go "home". One long, restless, sleepless night. Doesn't matter how little I sleep tonite, we're still closing the place at midnight tomorrow!!!

LOL I dont exactly have any sayings, but people have looked at me while I was in tears while standing in the lineup to get in, as I was so happy and in disbelief I was actually there! LOL!

I also have people stare at me when I sing during parades and fireworks LOL! I cant help but get into it. Sorry guys!

:rotfl2: that made me laugh...my first day on any trip...Im there standing in line waiting to get in pacing the entire time....up and down the line...jumping up and down like a kid whos had too much candy and people look at me like im a fruitcake  then when they start the countdown...Im screamin it and trying to be patient and not push anybody to get through quicker ;)

Pix you and I are made from the same cloth girlfriend...I do the cd thingy too...I remember when they used to have Disney radio on the am station and I would start checking to see if it was coming in yet after I got to Valencia and we would listen to it all the way down singing all the way hehe :teeth:

I listen to my Disneyland 50th CD almost everyday on repeat. I'm a teacher so everytime I play it, the kids and I sing :rolleyes1 together.(POTC pirate: is their favorite song and they know all the words by heart) When the other teachers hear us they just laugh and think I'm totally nuts  for listening to it so many times and being so obsessed over going to Disneyland but as far as I'm concerned, as long as the kids like it we'll continue to listen to it. I'm also a little concerned about what I'm going to do the night before we leave. I'm gonna have to take a couple shots of something just so I can go to sleep because I'll be to excited :bounce: plus I have to get up at 3:00am the next day because we booked an early flight so we'll be there in the morning around when the park opens. :woohoo: :woohoo: 41 more days till me and the mouse reunite once again! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Yup I just had that experience this past month. The night before we left it was 8:00pm and I had a few shots of irish cream to calm me down as I had to be up at 3am. But even when I got drowsy, the adrenaline still had this freakish way of poking through and making me not sleep.
