I have tons to celebrate, life is great. Before
I get too ahead of things let's start the introductions

My name is Traci, I used to go by Ty, I still do in some circles, you can choose which circle to be in, Traci or Ty I'm happy with both.

My trip dates are December 4-12 of this year. I'm staying at Pop Century and have the table service dining plan. Usually my trip reports start much sooner than this but I have been so busy. So busy I couldn't even take my yearly trip to Disney World. I have a lot of catching up to do.

I am not taking this trip alone. My mother is going with me, Or maybe since she is the benefactor of this trip I should say I am going with her? Either way it's just me and my Mama.

My Mama, Pixie, super sweet lady. I am so glad to be taking a mother daughter trip. My mom has been my rock for the past 2 years, she has gotten me through a lot.

You probably want to know what I'm celebrating. First is my college graduation. I put off college to raise my kids, kids are all raised now so it was time. Second celebration is my birthday....42.....I'm not age sensitive at all. I wear that number like a badge. There is more to celebrate but I'll introduce that later.

I don't feel focused writing this, I have no plan, I'm just going with whatever pops into my head.

I have 4 days left in my externship and then I will be a medical assistant, I take my CMA exam November 4th and once I pass that I will be a certified medical assistant. I also got my certification in phlebotomy around 14 weeks ago. I never thought the day would come...but here it is.

I thought about Disney a lot during school, I missed it so much, I tried to incorporate Disney into a lot of my projects. When I had to construct a cell model, I made sure to include a hidden Mickey. For my report on the cycle of infection, I used Snow White and the poison apple for my visual, I got extra points for creativity.

Aside from starting school which was a system shock for me, I moved from my big 6 bedroom house in the country to a 1 bedroom apartment in town. My son moved out and got his own apartment. and my daughter moved in with friends. I was pretty much single without kids again, it made studying easier, but my heart ached for Disney.

It was around last February that I first asked my mom if she thought she could do one more trip. We had all gone to Disney World in December 2011, by we I mean my sister Bo, my mom and my friend Ally. I never wrote a trip report for that one because I started school a month after that but mostly I didn't do a TR because I had lost my memory card with all my pictures on it. All 800 Disney pictures....gone! I'm still not over it.

Anyway mom and I worked out the details and decided yea, we can do this. Everybody knows that when you have a trip planned time tends to slow down, not if you're in school. Time flies. I was kept busy with

Just a few of the things that kept me busy in school. Then something would happen to remind me of my trip.

Reminders would come in the mail and I would take some time to get excited. but then it would be back to learning until the next Disney reminder.

The time is creeping closer and I'm really starting to feel the Disney excitement, I'm seeing hidden Mickeys everywhere

Anyway usually by this time I have my itinerary memorized and I have started packing, I haven't done any of that yet. I do have my ADR's. We hadn't planned on the table service, we honestly don't like being held down by reservations but when I called to add the free dining promo to our package the CM and I were just chit chatting and when I told him I would be celebrating my birthday and my graduation we were 0ffered an upgrade FREE, I went ahead and accepted it figuring since it's just me and mom we'll have a lot of extra time. For some reason when there are 4 or more people on a trip you feel pulled in a lot of directions but when it's just 2 people stuff gets done faster, I guess it's less bathroom breaks and all that.

I called mom and told her that we now had table service, we discussed places we wanted to try, she basically left it all up to me. so our ADR's go as follows.

December 4- Nine Dragons, this is new for both of us.

December 5- Yak-n-Yeti, another new one

December 6- The Sci-Fi, we have eaten here before and loved it.

December 7- Whispering Canyon, we have eaten here before too, super fun.

December 8- Garden Grill, new for us, I'm so looking forward to this one.

December 9- Liberty Tree Tavern, my birthday dinner, I ate here way back when it was a character meal, the food is great and I think Mom will like it.

December 10- Rose and Crown, new for both of us. I've been wanting to try this place forever.

December 11- Crystal Palace, We both have eaten here before, it's fun.

We don't have anything planned for our last day, it will just be a counter service somewhere.

We are straying from tradition of visiting Magic Kingdom first and heading straight to Epcot instead, We do have the park hopper so if we start to feel like we made a mistake then we have the option of just jetting over to the castle.
