Well, I am a die-hard Riverside, WL and AKL fan but for my trip in May we are trying CBR for the first time. I've never even stepped foot on property there so I'm clueless besides what I find online.
It came down to the fact that I just bought a new house and that comes with the million dollars in unexpected expenses.
I had WL booked with the postcard rate - the nine nights would have been $1,375 and when I called today CBR was the only moderate with code rooms available...the same time period was $793. So the difference in $$ won out.
I admit I'm nervous...I'm nervous about showing up and it not feeling Disney-enough, etc. I think it will be fun in that this is my first Spring-time trip in ages and the Caribbean theme will be fitting...I don't know.
I really love POR and the feel of it and I don't want to spend the next 3 months worried about it. (but at the same time I want to try something new) I'm impossible, I know.
Anyway - if there is anyone out there who enjoys POR like I do and has spent time at CBR I'd love to hear your impressions. In the meantime I'll be scouring the boards and web for more info, pics, etc.
Thanks for listening to me ramble.

Here's pixie dust hoping a code comes your way for your stay!
We tried CBR about 3 years ago. The palm trees and scenery was very nice, the hammocks were great. We enjoyed watching the epcot fireworks from the main building
There's nothing wrong with CBR, its definitely Disney, its just hard for us to not stay at POR. lol.
