Hmmmm....it semems like everyone knows everyone. Is this one of those threads that is a spinoff/continuation of some other thread. Don't want to intrude. (substitute mini bottle of Gallo family chardonnay for he coffe cup. Wine tastes like crap---but coming off of a heavy stress crying spell this evening when I discovered that hubby accidentally left our ornament box in a precarious position and...well....my son's first Christmas dumbo ornament was shattered.)

When's your move due to this big traffic congested area? Do you know you have to pay property tax on cars for this area? I had that big shock recently so I try to warn others ahead of time.

Can you look on ebay for a Dumbo Christmas ornament? Can it still be purchased at WDW? I understand so very well. I always seem to have a tree that falls over.

Yes. My Dad has his Bread and Breakfast up for sale, so this possible could be the last time we can really go and enjoy it. I love going, kids at these ages are neah, but they have a good time while they are there..

Well, I'm not very happy about it at all. I've had those tags for a while and one was the scrolling new rule tag. I sent them a message so we'll see what happens.

I'll be happy to look to see if they still have that ornament. I'm heading to the parks this weekend.

Movers come on Thursday to finish my packing and begin loadin the truck. 13 days until the auto train! Can't wait.

Then it seems like having to due some serious stuff to make the car legal. First thing...emissions. Don't have that here. Then title, then tags. Oy!

And I have to figure out how to mount the front tag. I guess the vehicles came with a kit. Husband has his for his car, but I don't for my van. Do they sell that? I don't have anything on the front to mount a tag.

Also---how did changing the license work? Will we have to take a test or
can they just switch it if we have a clean record?

The emissions test isn't a big thing. You have to get the car inspected for saftey once a year(the big sticker in the middle of the windshield) and then emissions every other year. I think it costs like $40 or something.

I haven't transfered my driver's license over to VA but shouldn't be any problem. If you have your van in your husband's name as well as yours though, you will need a POA or him there with you to change license plates.

As for mounting on the front. Does it have place on the front for a plate? Like two teeny tiny holes for screws? That's all I had on the front of my car. No frame for the plate or anything.

I was cheap and bought it at the disney outlet in St.
Augustine. Then I used a paint pen to personalize it. We were going to try to squeeze in a trip to downtown Disney before we head to Virginia. DS is now 3, so he can pick out his own special ornament.

As for the wine...free wine that taste like crap is better than no wine. I'm just shocked at the taste as stepmom is rather...gosh-darned snooty and uppity about wines and I expected better. Heck, we went to a restaurant one time and she got bent out of shape because all they had was jug wine. this is one of those 4 packs they sell...you know...like a 6 packmof bottled
beer but one. With a screw top. The horror it must have been for her.

Congrats on the weight loss, and you too Tina. I gained all mine back and I'm just so mad at myself for doing so. If I had just stuck with it I'd probably be at goal. I have got ot buckle back down!!

no holes drilled. It is solid. Bought it in Florida and we do not have front plate requirements.
