I booked a 8 day/7 night stay at Riverside with DDP. I booked 2 rooms as 7 of us are going. What now? Do they send you tickets and travel information after your last payment? Thanks for all of the help!

They send the packages out around 30 days before check-in. Each package will go to the lead person on the reservation.

If you opted for ME, you should see those at about 45 days before check-in.

Starting January 1, ME (Magical Express) tags and booklet will be sent with the resort documents and not as a separate mailing.

ME is the acronym for Magical Express, Disney's complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the resort hotel.

You will not get your tickets until you check into your resort. Only a information packet with your travel documents and magical express tags will come to your home...the rest will be at check in.

OP, when are you going? Different times of the year give different experiences. Many Disers can give you tips pertaining to each time about crowd levels, things to do, where to eat..etc

Do you have a package or room only reservation? If you have a package, it should arrive soon. I've gotten mine as late as two weeks before my vacation began. They don't mail them until after the deadline for your final payment has passed and you have paid in full.

If you have a room only reservation, you will not get a packet from the WDTC. You will only get a mailing from DME with your vouchers and luggage tags.

If you have a room only reservation, you will not get a packet from the WDTC. You will only get a mailing from DME with your vouchers and luggage tags.

Since you have the DDP, you have a package and your booklet from Disney will arrive any day now - it's larger than a normal envelope and light blue + white. Inside will be a booklet w/ discounts and your info.. If you like you can pre-register 10 days before you arrive on your computer @ the WDW site. Or you can just check in at the front desk when you arrive. Each member of your party will receive a room key card at check in when you arrive. This card is also your parks admission card and you will use it for paying for your meals and snacks on your dinning plan. If you put a credit card on your room you can use your room card to pay your meal tips, buy merchandise, etc.. It's called a KTTW (key to the world) card.
If you haven't done so and have the regular dinning plan, I suggest you visit the dinning forum to get a feel for which restaurants you want to eat at and then make a few sit down dinner reservations for your party of seven - you can call or do it online (super easy.)
I see you are from Texas - if you are flying and don't have a rental car or private shuttle arranged call and verify that you are registered for your free DME shuttle from the airport.
