I'm booked for the Poly!!!!

Super excited. I just booked the Poly for June 21-30, 2016. Now I just have wait 10 months to get there! Let the planning begin.

Originally I went to my husband with the idea of trying a moderate (we've done values 3 times, and my parents paid for the BCV once for a family vacation) but he was like lets go deluxe. Poly has always been a dream of mine. I love the tropical feel and the idea of being on the monorail loop. It will be our 10 year anniversary so we said what the heck.

I think you picked a great resort for celebrating your anniversary. Like the pp, the Poly is also our favorite. You are going to love it!! Enjoy the planning and anticipation .

Congrats! I have my first stay there coming up next month and can SO understand the excitement!!!! It's a wonderful feeling!

We've stayed twice, and it's a magical place. Be sure to allow some time to hang out at the resort and do to the Pineapple Lanai, Trader Sam's, and Tambu Tambu. The gift shops are nice too. The walk along the shore between GF and Poly at night to see the electrical water parade is really cool too.

Congrats! My wife and I actually had our first stay at the Poly this past July 3. Just did one night for the Fireworks. It's definitely very nice and has some great views.

We love the Poly and can't wait to stay there after all of the construction is done!

As others have said, take time to enjoy the resort. We love the landscaping at night, the pool, getting a Lapu Lapu drink in a pineapple, Wishes and Electrical water pageant at night.

We also like to take the time and travel to the other monorail resorts and have a drink in each of their lounges. It's fun to see the other resorts and Basin White in GF is my favorite shop!

I reserved a SV room at the Poly from 5/7-5/16-16! Super excited to go with family. Love to see all the positive comments about this resort. I know it's going to be a great place to stay!

Congrats! Sharing your joy, we will be there for our third stay this November. We have stayed at most of the resorts, and the Poly is our hands-down favorite! The monorail, the atmosphere, the views, the drinks! Enjoy your trip planning!

Very cool, the Poly is my wife's favorite resort (my second, just behind the WL). We have not stayed there since the make-over but have seen it because we have eaten at Ohana (love eating here) a couple of times since it has been done.

We loved it there. Take time to explore the resort and grounds. It really is a beautiful resort.

I will echo what others have said, you will love the Poly! Got back two weeks ago from our first stay there...it was awesome! It was definitely worth the extra money, I don't think I can go back to the moderates. Being on the monorail loop was invaluable; my daughters and I hopped on one night just because we wanted to ride Space Mountain, and we were there in no time.

We stayed in Niue (standard view/first floor) and thought it was the perfect building for us. It is next to the main building and close to the lava pool...good central location.

The recent renovations are beautiful and the east pool should be finished by your stay. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

I share your excitement I've been wanting to try the Poly for awhile and am finally getting my chance in Jan. It's only 2 nights-DH and I are going without the kids and doing 3 nights at AKV followed by 2 nights in the Poly Villas, but it's good enough for me We've stayed deluxe before but not at either of these resorts and never at a monorail resort.
The good thing is you have lots of time to plan and watch the rest of the changes emerge as the construction goes on-more to get excited about!!

I love the Poly! you will too! we did a split stay between the Poly and AKL...what an awesome combination that was! the best of both worlds. I love going out to the beach area and catching some relax time on a hammock or just splashing in the shallow waters. great food too! hope you have the best time ever!

Lucky, lucky you!!! You'll love it!! I'm hoping to finally go there again after 22 years of staying at other resorts--looking for December 2016--fingers crossed.

Just got back from our first poly stay! You won't be dissapointed ...it was wonderful. I thought staying on the monorail would be great...my favorite surprise was how much I loved the little boat to the Magic kingdom....we used that more than the monorail!

We are taking extended family to WDW in December and I am so glad to hear so many positive replies here. Our entire family can hardly wait!
