I'm being childish for getting angry, I know...but I need to vent

My neighbors are really ticking me off, though! We live in a 4-unit building, and there are FOUR garbage cans. Every week, we bring one can to the front, and bring it back by our back porch after the garbage is collected. Once in a while, another of the four cans manages to make its way to the curb, but it's rare.

Tonight, I went to throw away a bag of garbage, to find the can by MY back porch STUFFED with garbage bags!! I know it's Christmas, but to actually fill all the other cans, and then come and fill MINE??? I was so angry, I nearly emptied the bags out and left them by the other back porch. I recovered in time to remember that it is Christmas, after all, but I did stomp and bang around very LOUDLY with the cans as I brought them to the front of the building (all this at 11 p.m., no less)

I think I'm going to write a note to the other residents and put it in their mailboxes...but I'll wait until I'm not angry.

It's a small, petty thing - but these are ADULTS living here, and my children are the ones usually dealing with the garbage cans, and I find it galling.

Thanks for listening to my rant - I feel a little better now.
