Im Banned!!!

omg! im banned, The only thing I said was "it is for oh clock where I live in real. wow time flies when your playng VMK!" I have been banned for 24 hours, this will be my first ban and now I can forget being a community leader. the only thing I was trying to show was that vmk is a fun way to pass up time. Do you think this was a fair ban or was it done by mistake? and I was in the middle of a quest, while also hanging out at shadows new room. Im about to burst out crying! this is my first halloween and my trick or treat prize is being banned! oh and btw I havent been in a host room all month for the halloween prizes and I was only 61 in q for lighting jack o lanterns! I have had bad days on vmk, but this one takes the the top!

Saying it's 4:00 where you live is giving out personal info. It may not seem like much, but people can look at a map and determine where it is 4:00 at that time and figure out a little closer to where you are.

I know you didn't mean any harm, but it's a fair ban. Sorry.

I guess it's because you're giving identifying information. If you say the time, it can be determined what time zone you live in. That may not seem like such a big deal but I guess if someone collected enough of those "little" bits of information on people, it could be dangerous. Thankfully it is only 24 hours! It must stink for you but once it is over, you can put it behind you.

I guess so.. Thanks guys for supporting me. But this will always haunt my mind. I can look on the bright side, tonight is all of my favorite shows are on. but now I know I will never say anything. well, Im sorry but I haven't been in a host room all month. and 61 is the closest I have got. and I only use omg bc I cant say the real verse. Im only here to tell ppl that Im not going to be on. Hope Yo Understand.

no offense, but chill. You should be glad its only 24 hours. i have faced three bans of a month each.

Plus, 1 of the bans was during during the start of christmas.

That is pretty mean though. I just like vmk because that is the only website I go to. I think Im finished with these boards, my opinion- I dont feel welcome. My goodness. It shouldn't matter what part of the country you are in. That is not very personal information. I think that should be allowed. Email addresses, telephone numbers. age of a person, school grade etc should be forbidden of course. But which side of the world you live on? I think that is going too far. But, this is just my personal opinion. It's kind of cool to know that you are playing a game with someone on the other side of the country.

i think this is a shame ,how can you tell where a person lives by saying the time, i had also better be careful as i am always saying sorry for leaving rooms so early,because of the time difference,and i say the time sometimes,or that i am eight hours in front,i do not think it any more personal than saying at school or at home, sorry anyways it will soon pass.
