Have several highs and lows and wish I was still there.

Highs:

Lovely weather on day 1
Long opening hours
Fireworks were amazing
Animagique - loved this don't know why I've never seen it before
New resin photo frames in shops
Casey Junior and Storybook village open!
Fuss the baby got off CMs
DD loved the wake up call from Mickey

Lows:
Very busy so ridiculous ques even during EMH Dumbo was 55 min wait . Tried to get Fast Pass for Peter Pan at 1pm and the next one available was 9.20pm! Got hardly any rides done due to how busy it was.

Disney Express waste of money by the time wed waited to hand our luggage in we could of got to the hotel and it meant collecting our luggage and checking in after a long day in park when we were tired and had shopping so struggled. Still had to wait half hour to check in!

Follow my leader with Peter Pan - all in french apart from the odd word and you have to sit on the cold, hard, cracked floor in Adventureland!

CM moving our pram with our sleeping baby in it giving me a heart attack. We were told to leave the pram near the rocks so we did and sat by the side of it. Turned around and the buggy was gone and the crowd was thick behind me and all stood up and nobody would let me by to find her! One lady told me a CM moved her but stopped when she pointed out to him a baby was in there but he should of put her back!

Heavy rain and thunder Tuesday, even with ponchos on we still got soaked.

Babies under 1 can go on very few rides and its not advertised! They only tell you when you get to the front. We were turned away from Buzz, Teacups and Dumbo. All she was allowed on was the Carousel, Storybook Village, Casey Jr and Small World.

The inside of the castle upstairs being closed despite this not being listed in the closures.

All in all though we had a fabulous time and didn't want to come home. DD keeps asking to go back now and wont wait until December lol. My feet are killing me still lol

If your feet are killing you you know you had a good time :goodvibes!

Lol yes we did have a fab time and the only reason Ive not got the blues is because were booked again for December.

He said under 1s get scared of the noise. But from experience under 1s are less likely to care about noise than toddlers

welcome back :) may i ask how old your baby is?... when we go baby will be 2 months old so im not holding much hope in doing too much stuff together lol

just so annoying as you know your child better then anyone so if a parent think its suitable for their little one then i dont get the prob...

its not like u were trying to strap the baby in to crush lol

That must have been awful that CM moving your pushchair with her still in it I would of been in floods of tears! Even it was for a few minutes!

Really you got turned away from that many rides I'm really surprised after reading so many TRs and people going on them very surprised you were aloud on cadet Jnr as on the website there is a height restriction

Xxx

Glad you had a wonderful time and your looking forward to your December trip :cool1:

Oh My about moving your DD that would have really freaked me out. I panicked when they moved dd buggy without her in it Who knows how i would have reacted if she was in it. I'm glad all was ok in the end

Looking forward to hearing more :surfweb:

She is 7 months but the size of a 1 year old (going by height, weight and clothes size)

Glad you had a good time all in all.
I am shocked at the CM moving your baby. I would freak out.

On another note, Im reminded of a day in the Studios in March when we observed a buggy left unattended for 20mins with a baby sleeping in it. I dont know what kind of crazy the parents were but they were very lucky no one had kidnapped their L.O.
We watched it for ages and were about to find a CM when someone reclaimed the child and buggy. It was basically abandoned near the ride times sign in the studios. I was disgusted. It was a busy enough day with crowds hanging around so thats why we didnt immediately call a CM (we assumed some of them owned the child) but the parent/guardian that claimed the child wasnt standing near the buggy or being vigilant.

And you need a license for a dog?????!

I emailed and they confirmed I should of received my shareholders discount here and offered to refund the discount amount if I had my receipt, which I dont.

They also sent DD a big teddy as a way of apology for the incident during Follow the leader with Peter Pan.
