And I am NEVER doing that again!!!
My grandmother, God lover her, drove me insane!!! And my mom too. Poor mom, by Thursday she had had enough, she even dropped the F-Bomb, which is soooo not like her. That was actually kinda funny in a shocking did I hear what I think I just heard, kind of way.
My Gmom is not moved in to her new place, we managed to clean out 1 room and bring 2 bins and 1 bookcase to the new apartment. Granted she has lived in this house for almost 60 years but she is not one to hold onto things so it should have been easy. It's a 2 1/2 bedroom 700 Sq Ft house, it's not like we were packing up the White House. There were only 1/2 a dozen pieces of furniture that needed to be moved but nnnnooooooo. We can't do that, I need that one here, yada yada yada.
And my Great Uncle A passed away a few weeks ago and my mom's brother, Uncle B inherited everything, the house, the car, depression glass, photo albums (which I stole with his permission, had to hide them from Gmom), 100's of embroidered and cross stitched pieces, etc.
Uncle B is just as bad as Gmom, she convinced him that nothing could be taken out of the house until probate was over. And he is cataloging everything and I mean ev.er.y.thing.
Gmom wants to take all the embroidery to the church penny party but leave all the clothes out for the nieces and nephews to riffle through. OMG!!! She yelled at me for bagging up the clothes. Uncle B told me to!
So, when I die, please divvy up all the albums to my kids (at your discretion) and burn the rest. It should make for a great bon fire and party!!!
Vent over! LOL Thanks for listening.
P.S. My annual pilgrimage is done so I'll just save this and cut and paste it next April. LOL
P.P.S. We did go to the Cape May Zoo Friday and had a blast!
