Oh my where do I start should I start with me being awarded a CTT pin by Scoop, or do I start by me making it to the "Hot Seat" at Millionaire or should I just get on with it already. Let me preface this by saying this has been the best Disney trip so far (I say this every trip until the next one).
I arrived last Thursday most of the Dis people were on the cruise and that first day was being spent by me and my wife settling in and relaxing we went to MGM that day to have Lunch at hollywood and Vine I had my pins on and Dale stopped by our table and noticed my pins and franticly pointed at my pin book and lanyard since characters are not allowed to speak Dale took a crayon from my table and wrote on the back of the priority seating receipt and I quote "lanyard pins at Boardwalk pin cart" I was a bit stunned by this and gave him a thumbs up and Dale did the same. So for all you pin collectors out there Hollywood and Vine is a pin friendly resturant.
Now onto Friday the pin meet at the Contemporary let me just say this there were some good traders and some not some good in other words "while the DIS is away the sharks will play" but I did make good trades. The kids table on the other hand was perfect for the kids plenty of pins, coloring, contests, and other fun things.
The highlight (or at least one of) of the trip happened on the 19th and 20th of May on the 19th I was at one of Scoops 1pm pin talks the DIS cruisers had come back showing their cruise pins afterwards Scoop and I were trading he then asked I my wife and I wanted a certificate we said yes of course and as I was leaving Scoop said I have somthing else for you he digs in to his bag and hands me a CTT pin I was floored I had a smile ear to ear luckily my wife was there to take pictures. The other cool moment was the following day I went to MGM to play Millionaire and I made it to the "hot seat" I made it to the 1000 point level, but I did'nt care I was thrilled.
Whew thats all for now because if I keep on going I may blow out the Dis server.
