Hi all you wonderful WISHers out there!

I missed posting while I was away but me and little sis had a fantastic trip! I am working on a trip report and will try to post a link to it when I'm done. I'm also going to try to figure out how to post pictures because I can't believe the difference in the way I look. We took the obligatory pic at AK before our Donald's breakfast and I was ready to cringe when they brought the pics around. But you know what guys? I looked pretty good. Yes, I'm saying it. I looked pretty much like a normal person in the pics even next to my thin 12 year old sister! What a surprise because I haven't allowed pics of myself to be taken since I started South Beach.

I was able to stay OP the entire time and worked out 3 of the 5 days of our trip. My little sis wasn't too thrilled to get up so early before park time to work out and I did find myself dragging a bit so I switched working out to the afternoon during the regular T-storms that occured each day!

Also, I was so worried that I wouldn't fit into my airplane seat or be able to fasten the seatbelt but I was fine! I mean I was able to fasten the belt and have several inches of belt when I pulled it tight. I'm telling you guys, I almost started crying. My sister and I did a Beyounce "booty" dance in our seats instead! It was hysterical but a great way to celebrate for me reaching this milestone. I'm still smiling thinking about how comfortably I fit in that seat. It was all the motivation I needed to stay OP while at Disney.

Anyway, like I said, we had a great time and I'm working on the trip report. This was the first time I took detailed notes on each day and I'm so glad I did because I wouldn't have remembered half of what I do without these notes.

I'm back into my regular routine now and looking forward to reaching my next 10% goal by the end of July.

Hugs, love and kisses to you all!!!:sunny:

Welcome back. :)

Sounds like it was tons o' fun.

Have you reported your step counts yet or did you remember your pedometer? :) I'm just anxious to see how much walking it is. I'm always dead tired when we'd get back from the day at the parks. My dad always took us and we stayed open to close, he loves the parks. :)

Melissa - what a cute baby pic! I remembered my pedometer only 1 of the days, I could just kick myself for forgetting! I'd have to sift through my notes for the specific number but I know I kept it on from the minute we left our room until we returned that night and I took over 13,000 steps. When I come across the exact number, I'll post it.

Thanks. Wow so that is well over 6 miles. Lots of walking.

Glad you had fun. :)

Welcome back Lisa, and congrats for staying OP. Sounds like you had a great time and I can't wait to read your report. I saw this post and said (out loud) "Oh my goodness, she's back already?!" Seems like we were just excited about you starting your awesome vacation! I know they go by too fast.

So nice to have you back!

I know what you mean about the airpline seat. Pre-diet, I sometimes had to ask for a seatbelt extender, then after losing 60 pounds I flew and the seatbelt not only fit around me - I had about 8 inches of the end sticking out!! I kept pulling it up and looking at it! I was excited, too!

Yea Lisa!! So happy for you. Glad you had a great time. We leave in less than 10 days and I am determined to stay on program the majority of the time. Welcome home!!

Melissa
