Glad to hear you loved the resort. We are there in 4 day's. Arriving April 19th. I hope we get a good section for our room. I do not want the Ranchos area at all. How was the bus service? I read in one post that it is hard to get a bus from the parks in the middle of the day to go back to the resort. I hope that isn't the case. We stayed at CBR last yr and everything was perfect including the transportation at any time of the day or evening.

I am getting very excited about our trip

I don't want the Ranchos either. I'm not fond of the desert. I want to stay in the Cabanas 9B. I'm hoping that's possible with my disability walking can be difficult at times and a soak in a hot tub would help. Being close to the food court would help with meals.

I was at CSR for my 3rd visit in March. While I didn't get a great room location, it didn't ruin my visit at all (we had a view of an under construction fountain by Casitas 2). My problem was similar to your's with mold. I had to take allergy medication when in the room and at night as a few minutes after entering the room, I became very stuffed! The resort was filled as it was Easter week so there was no where to move to and it might not have made a difference.

I don't mean this to be whiny because we had a fantastic time and luckily I had brought allergy pills. The resort is still amazingly beautiful and my favorite time was at night when I walked around the resort and lazed in a hammock. Plus, we weren't in the room very much!

I do hope that wdw is more cognizant of mold problems in the resorts as so many are affected by it and I did, very nicely, mention it to the front desk.

We are going to be at CSR at the same time! We will be arriving Friday 4/18 in the evening and staying until Sat 4/26! I requested Cabanas 8A or 8B.. we will see if I get it.... I am trying to stay positive that no matter where they put me...it will be WONDERFUL!!!!!! It is our first stay at CSR, but second disney trip! We are so looking forward to it!!

Ranchos are lovely but I understand your walking situation. I hope you get 9b.

We took walks through the Ranchos section, and I think that section was beautiful! You know there are these CM's in golf carts that'll take you to El Centro, so you wont that far. I also thought that it was quieter at night in Ranchos, but maybe it was just that night, I dont know. I do know that I will definitely be going back there, it was just lovely!
