Okay... Blah.... I'm back.... well... I actually got back this past Thursday and was sooo bummed :guilty: that I had to come back. Our trip was a blast and the weather was awsome!!! :sunny: I love California so much I want to live there but my H would never go for it. :sad2: I just can't get out of this depression I'm in after having such a wonderful time in Disneyland. I did however get to go in the HM for the first time and it was so awsome!!! :thumbsup2 I loved it! It was the first ride hubby and I went on the minute we were in Disneyland and it also the last one we went on the day we left. Favorite ride by far and can't forget splash. We usually saved that one for the end of the night just because the line was so short and we rode until we both were soaked to the bone. We did however got a taste of our own medicine and when I say that I mean, we were riding on splash one night and right before you go up the hill for the last biggest drop there was a guy sitting right behind the exit sign where it's kindda tucked away there and at first I was kindda freaked because I didn't know if it was a real person or if my mind was playing tricks on me. Then me and the others in the log decide to wave and he flashed his light under his chin and scared the pooh out of us. The very last time I said to him "you need to smile, because you work at the happiest place on earth" and I think he thought "I'll show them the happiest place on earth" because as we were going up the hill, our log came to a stop and as soon as the log began to move and we went over our final drop I can honestly tell you I have never gotten that wet on that ride in all the times I've ever rode on it before. It's almost like they planned out the waves or something and I know it sounds silly but every stran of hair and clothing attached to my body was WET!!! not a single dry spot me, my H or the others that were in the log with us. but man..... it sure was loads of fun!!!!!
Other than that we had a blast and all the x-mas decorations were so pretty at night. There is just something about Disneyland that makes you feel like your 6 years old again and that nothing els in the world matters when your there!!! :tinker: I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub with hubby at the end of the night, talking and relaxing and thinking I could settle doing this every night for the rest of my life. I'm just so depressed and sad!!!! I could watch the vacation DVD I have but that might depress me even more. :guilty: I just want to tell everyone els that's going pretty soon, enjoy every single minute that your there because it goes by sooooooo quick!!!! and hope everyone has lots of fun!!! ;)

Oh Missy....Chin up, girl! :sunny:
I hope your blues go away soon. Can you start planning your next trip? Even if it is several months aways, planning is half the fun and the time will fly. Glad you had such a great time. ;)

I know how you feel, I get that post-disney blues the minute we get home! So you just gotta do what we do, live through posts like these of others who are having wonderful times! Glad you had so much fun!

Re-entry into reality is so hard after a good vacation, my solution is to start planning the next vacation, even it it is a long time away.....

I soooo need to do that! We went last September (our first Disney trip!) and have kind of been in a funk ever since. We're tentatively planning to go again next fall, but it just seems so far away...

( to the tune of heart break hotel)

Since i left park
I found a new place to dwell
Its comes at the end of the airplane trip
Its the disney blues

Im so loney Micky
Im so loney I could die

lol you are not alone. I was in depression for weeks after I got back. It was horrible. I have the video I took of the fireworks and of the parade, and I actually watched it the other night and started bawling like a baby.

You are totally right. There is something about the place that makes you forget every care in the world, and ANYONE who walks thought those gates, is turned into a child. You really do feel like you are 6 years old again and you just wanna skip down mainstreet while carrying a mickey ice cream or lollypop. :)

I got back in October of this year and I am in total need to go back. So my mom and I started planning our next trip, and it took most of the pain away.

The only pain that is there is the fact that we have to wait so long (5 more months). But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. :goodvibes

So that is one thing I definately recommend to you. PLAN YOUR NEXT TRIP BACK! :thumbsup2 It will totally help you.

Like someone else said you are not alone. I guess that's why disboards exist. Thank goodness. Every time I get back I feel gloomy. I tell myself I want to move to Anaheim and get a job in the parks. Until then I just plan my next visit, it keeps you going.

I KNow what you mean! I have already started planning our next trip! IN Oct.!?!? Soooo far away. But I have it all planned out!!!! Now we have to wait......

Besides planning out every detail of your next Disneyland trip, try writing a trip report for your past trip. You get to relive your wonderful vacation and share your experiences with others who are dying to be there too.

I would like to know? How do the people in the park (that work there) are always so nice? I have never had a bad visit where do they go to relax? You just cant get any better than Disneyland. I get the Disney blues also. I wish that they had a Disney cam

not all the Disney cast members were all that nice during this trip. It was kindda a let down :confused3 It was mostly all the young teenage kids who were working that had such a BAD ATTITUDES!! :sad2: meaning they looked like they were not happy to be working there at all!! I mean those kids need to think about that for some of us, going to Disneyland is a dream come true and when you have an snotty look on your face with the attitude to match it, it doesn't make our day and for some, it can ruin it. Most of us can only go once a year after saving every penny just so we can have a good time. All of the older cast members were very very nice and always soooo helpful. :) it was just the young ones which we had troubles with. Other than that everything and everyone was great. I still love Disneyland so much and still think it's the happiest place on earth minus the snotty teenage kids.

Whens the next trip?

Next December 2007. I want to try and schedule our trip at the time where we can see the electrical parade because we have never seen it before. always wanted to see it ever since I was a kid. We missed it this year by one day. :sad2:

just cherish all thos memorys from the past, enjoy the moment and keep tomorrows dreams close by and enjoy life, oh and start planning a new trip, the planning is the fun part so even if you dont go again, an you know you will you'll always be smiling with that in your mind :santa:

I usually feel a little sad when I come home as well but it goes away soon as I start to plan the next trip!

I cry everytime we leave the park on the last day. DH and I stay till the last possible second, then take the train completely around the park. As we walk out the gate we both day "Bye Disneyland see you next time" Then big tears come to my eyes. We hold hands all the way back to the hotel. The worst part is the next morning waiting for the bus to the airport right beside the main cross walk to the main entrance. Everyone is hurrying to the park and our Vacation is over :sad2: :sad1:

I think it's normal to suffer from Disney withdrawl syndrome once you leave the park. :guilty: I'm telling ya that Mickey is more addicting than chocolate!!

If you took a lot of photos on your trip maybe you could start a scrapbook? That always cheers me up and it's a great keepsake for all the happy memories! :)

I'll join you in the Disney Withdrawl Blues. I just got home last night from a trip with DH's family. The sad thing is that DH and I are back at work today and his family is still in DL without us.
