I'm back...again!

Hi everyone!

Sorry it has been so long and I hope you have all been keeping well?!

Just a quick update to let you all know, Mum's prolapsed disc is on the mend. She was signed off work for a month and supposed to be resting... keyword is "supposed to be". She is a very determined woman, let me tell you!

Also, Nan has had her operation and is currently recovering. She is still in hospital and I am ever so proud of her (and Mum too).

I haven't had the chance until now to post my Trip Report but with Nan in hospital, it seemed like an appropriate time to relive the Disney Memories from her trip a fortnight ago and share them with you all.

I must tell you all something funny first... I put the photos on my iPad so Nan could go through them in hospital this week. As I visited her the first thing she said was "Adam, I have not forgotten Disney. It was the best holiday I've ever had and thank you. I will never forget it for as long as I live. I still keep humming It's A Small World and I've told everybody about that tram tour ride!"
I began to show Nan the photos and she said "Adam, I don't want to see them - I don't like photos of me I look old and wrinkly now!" and then as she saw herself in the photos she said "Oh, these look good!" and next thing I knew she had taken the iPad off me and was happily reliving the trip.

Awww I'm glad your mum and gran are getting better. I'm just about to look at the trip and I'm sure it will be fab., can't wait lol ... off to read it now

Just read it, it was fantastic! Your gran seems sooo sweet. Glad you all managed to have a good time even though your mum had the slipped disk.

Thank you all! I've passed on all of your lovely well-wishes to both my Nan and Mum who are flattered and asked me to say 'thank you for thinking of them', on their behalf.

Kizzabel - the next trip is (roughly) in 26 days time! My best friend and I are going for 3 nights / 4 days and trying out the Hotel New York. We're really looking forward to this trip actually as it's been drama after drama for the pair of us lately and it will be such a fabulous break!
I am also bursting to ride Tower of Terror again. I've missed it SOOO much!! It was heartbreaking to walk past it when I was with Mum and Nan but I didn't think it fair to ride alone and have them wait for me...

So glad to hear nan's doing ok after hospital. I've not been around much but have been lurking and reading trip reports still, lovely to see both trips went as planned
