I'm babysitting tonight...

From about 7:30 to midnight, and the baby goes to bed at 8. Any ideas about how to keep myself awake and keep my mind off this scary movie I just saw? I already have my best friend's cell phone number, he's ready for random/scared phone calls at 11.

Ohhh.. I remember once when I was 14 (about a hundred years ago)... the baby slept the ENTIRE time & I was up watching American Werewolf in Paris.. I was CREEPED out! I suggest putting on some music & dancing!! or watch a funny movie instead!

Yeah, I hate scary movies, but someone convinced me to watch Urban Legends: Bloody Mary. I will never go into a bathroom in the dark. I will never tan, and I will kill every spider I see.

Haven't seen it but since I DO tan & already hate spiders I'll make sure to put that one on the list of movies to avoid!!

I think I would be annoyed if my babysitter was surfing while babysitting, even if the baby is in bed. That would mean she's on my computer, with access to my files, etc., etc. As a babysitter, I would probably skip the surfing.

The MTV Video Awards are on tonight. If you're old enough to babysit, you're probably old enough to watch them.

I was baby sitting last night to from 6-10pm (left about 1 am after talking to the parents some) and i took a couple of books i am reading, a magazine and watched a movie on the disney channel with the children after there tea.

One fell asleep druing the movie so i put him to bed and then after the movie his sister chose a one of the books i had bought for a bedtime story.

i left the disney channel on once the children were in bed asleep and read my book while checking on them every now and again.

im babysitting too tonight--but luckily they are at my house and they are sleeping! i always go on the internet when they are sleeping, but its usually the same people that i babysit all the time, go on vacation with ,and see all the time, so its no big deal..
watch a funny movie,,,eat junk ,,,call the best friends..have fun!

It went fine, they left around 9 and got home around 11:30, they had a big dog, to keep me safe, and there was a really interesting movie on Lifetime! The baby went right down at 8:30! She was actually saying night night!

But for those of you who have seen Bloody Mary, there was a chest in there living room. I put a pillow up on the couch so I couldn't see it
