I'm baaaaaaack!

Hi guys!! Just got back about an hour ago...it's great to be home!!!!!!!! Wow, it's funny how you go into "DIS Withdrawal"!!!!

Well, it was quite the trip! We had lots of fun, really fun parts and some not-so fun parts. Rob got sick the day that we left for Disney, someone at his work had given him a cold on his last day of work and so I pumped him full of echinacea, vitamin c and cold medicine and he was better in 3 days, then we went on our cruise and he got sick again. He was SO sick the whole cruise (my poor sweetie, I felt so bad for him) we spent probably 75% of the cruise in our room, getting him some rest. But, you'll be glad to hear that he was generous and he shared his cold with me on the second to last day of the cruise

And I have been really sick for 5 days now. But, we tried our best not to let it ruin our trip and we still managed to have fun and find some of that magic

Got home to 10 inches of snow and icy roads! It was pretty funny, I got some weird looks cus Rob was in his winter jacket coming home and I was in my shorts and sandals still
It has been 85-90º weather the whole trip and I can't handle the heat very well, so I was like "yeah, bring on the cold weather!" and Rob was freezing his butt off wondering out loud why we came back! LOL

So, I have lots to do now that I am home...I haven't even kept track of how many pics I took, but I took 4 256MB flashcards with me and we went to Walgreens and downloaded them when they were full and I think I have 13 CD's with 2 more full flashcards

We got to know the girl at Walgreens quite well

I took a lot of fireworks pictures and I know a lot of those didn't turn out, I just used my continuous picture feature to take a whole bunch

I took pics of the SB store in DD for all you guys...they have quite a few things but really, when I went to actually buy some supplies, I didn't get a lot because I thought a lot of it was kindy cheesy, more for maybe a SB made by kids. I dunno, I guess my style is very plain and the stuff they were selling was very busy-looking.

Well, I must sleep now...been up for 20 hours now and I MISS MY BED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have tons of trip reports to do and pics to go thru....
I have tomorrow off, gonna catch up on my shows....oh my DOD! (yes, I say DOD) I wonder who's been booted off the island!!! And has Bob chosen a wife yet?????? ARRRGGHHH

And then I have to work on Wednesday (and of course we gotta go see Matrix Revolutions!) and then I have THREE whole days off to sort all my pics!!! yayyyyy!!

So, if you have any kestions...I will be on the boards now and then tomorrow after I sleep for about 12 hours

I've missed you guys!!!

Sorry to hear you both were sick during your vacation but, I'm glad you had a good time despite being ill.

No bride for Bob yet!!!

It sounds like you really had an adventure! So sorry to hear that the 2 of you were sick but so glad to hear you were still able to enjoy yourselves!

Thanks for all the welcome backs!! Got about 6 hours of sleep and got some groceries in our fridge now! That's one thing I hate about coming home...no food Did my unpacking and now there is about 6 loads of laundry

Wow, yeah ...scrapbooking!! It's gonna take me awhile to even tackle it! I think I will do all my trip reports and my website updates first. It's gonna take me hours just to look at all my pics and get them organized. Then to figure out which ones I need for my website and which ones I want to scrap! Then I have to get them printed somewhere, probably futurephoto.com.

I will try to get the photos from the sb shop in DD put up on my epson album page on Thursday or Friday since tomorrow I have to get up at 3:30 am for work

I will let you know when I get some updates done but as for scrapping goes, it may take quite awhile!

Welcome Back! Sorry you both got sick though- what a total bummer. I agree with you about Disney SB stuff- all I have bought was a few packs of stickers...the paper is just too much for me.

You missed a crazy Survivor! The "Outcasts" were brought back (all of the people voted off so far) and if they beat the other two teams, they would get to vote two outcasts back in!! Well, of course the Outcasts won, so both Drake and Morgan had to vote someone off and we will see this week who is back in. Shawn is gone and dumb Osten QUIT! It was quite dramatic- Jeff gave him a hard time and he didn't get to make closing remarks and they just laid his torch on the ground. One catch- the outcasts who are voted back in are immune the first week, so they are guaranteed a few days to try and fit back into the tribe. Interesting.

Well, it's about time you get back! I was starting to think you took a job at Disney or something. LOL

I've done the "sick thing" on a WDW vacation. It hit me hard on 9/11. Hotel gift shop only sells Benedryl.....good thing because I really needed something to make me sleep THAT night. Next day, I sent Scott off to Goodings to get DayQuil so I could at least function during the day somewhat.

Oh....and NO pressure on your scrapbook. REALLY!!!! This will give me a chance to get mine done before you complete ANOTHER trip album. LOL

Hey guess what, I'm going to Disney !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For one night --- Don't ask...... I'll email ya the details.

Howdy everyone, this is Timon's DH and just wanted to say thanks for all the kind words for Timon & I.
It's funny that on the trip I was telling her 'put that in the trip report'. Not sure if anyone else's spouse tells them to do that as well. I love her trip reports, she is such a good writer.
If you can believe it, I go to her site about once every couple of weeks and read a trip we did and remember all the good times we had together and makes me look forward to our next vacation even more.

Lots to say about our vacation but I'll let Timon tell you all, I am no where's near as talented as her.

BTW DW, it's not my fault you wanted my cold too, but you know how much I love sharing with ya (just wish it wasn't that as well).

Rob- you are not the only DH who kept saying "Are you going to put that in the trip report?" "Put that in the trip report." "Remember to write that down for the trip report." When my DH first heard I was going to write one of them, he thought I was a little nutsy, but he enjoyed reading it when it was all done. He is going to WDW for two days while he is on business and I asked him, so are you going to write a trip report?We shall see!

I've been wondering when you'd be back but haven't been on the DIS much the last few days to see if you'd posted...desperately trying to get my October trip scrapped while I have the time.

I know how you feel...I felt the same way so all I bought was an album for me & the Pooh & Friends kit for DD (who loves Tigger).

Get lots of rest & I hope you're both feeling back to normal soon (although those post-Disney blues can last a while...I still have them ) Looking forward to seeing your latest albums when you get them done...I love your scrapping style.
