Hey you guys!
I'm back from Disneyland. I don't do trip reports, don't like the typing involved so I'll just give you a little recap of each day.

Day 1 - Monday. Went to Disneyland Park all day. Met David Gill, the Ambassador to DisneyLand. Got presents, I got a Mickey Ears hat, a biography on Walt Disney, and something else I forgot. LOL

Day 2 - Tuesday. Did California Adventure, didn't like it very much. Later in the evening we went back to Disneyland Park.

Day 3 - Wednesday. Today was a rest day. I could not handle going into another park, so we hung around at our hotel (Paradise Pier) all day and went to Downtown Disney at night.

Day 4 - Universal Studios Hollywood. Man was that BORING! They have like 5 rides, crowded as heck, and it felt like 110 degrees cause it's in the valley. I didn't even make it to 11am there. The whole family was disappointed, we were expecting a lot more. I got heatstroke that morning, very scary. My head felt a little tingly in the morning, I thought it was just hunger so I went on the Simpsons Ride anyway (Awesome ride BTW) and went to eat breakfast after. By the time I got breakfast I hadn't even gotten to the table by the time my muscles had constricted all over my body. Tight feeling everywhere, mostly in my chest. My hands cramped up, my thumbs were between my ring fingers and I could NOT move them. Thankfully this has happened to me before, I knew exactly what to do. We went to first aid, drank 2 BIG bottles of water, took some Benadryl and rested and I was fine. Didn't want to over do it, so I hung out in the shops and shows the rest of the time.

Day 5 - Friday. Disneyland Park again, our last day. My mom and sister did extra magic hours so they were there at 7am, me at 8am. Had a great time. By 9pm, my scooter was dead for the THIRD time this trip. It happened the 1st and 2nd night. It was dead as a doorknob, you couldn't even push it. We ended up getting a wheelchair escort back to Main Street (it died by Splash Mountain but we made it to New Orleans Square) then we could loan that WC while cast members took it backstage to deliver it to the hotel.

Needless to say, the scooter dying on me made me pretty pissed. Moral of the story - ALWAYS take the wheelchair. Which BTW, we took our own, but it got lost for 2 days. The airports had no idea where it was.

Theres more I gotta tell you about, including sad news, but my hands are tired now LOL!

I loved universal.
We did the tour and this shrek ride and this haunted house thingy i had a lot of fun at universal.

Im sorry you didnt like it.

Ahhh Disneyland is such fun... glad you had a good time for the most part :D
I liked Universal. But that's just me. My dad splurged on VIP passes so we had this guy that carried around our purses and stuff and we didn't have to wait for the backlot tour. XD

But anyhoozers. Glad to have you back!

:(

Welcome Back!!
It sounds like you had a pretty good time! :)

Welcome back!
That sucks about the scooter and the heat, but I'm glad it sounds like you had fun over all! :)

Disneyland!!!!!!!!!!
That's always fun lol.
I'm sorry about your scooter dying on you and the heatstroke.
Actually when I was at WDW a couple of weeks ago, this lady collapsed in line for RnR coaster. I think she got over heated.

It wasn't hot though. It was in the mid 80s with little humidity, it was cold for me. I may live on a mountain, but the humidity is always so high, so when I got to SoCal I was like "Ooh this is nice!".
I'm naturally prone to heatstroke, but I never felt overheated. Weird.

I loved the Indiana Jones ride. Very cool.
Peter Pan, Pirates, Toontown, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Splash Mountain are all way better there than WDW. I liked the HM at DisneyLand, but they outside facade is way better at WDW.
I also really like Matterhorn and Storybook Land. Matterhorn was fun but too rough and my knee kept banging all over the place. Metal hitting metal is not fun!
Tower of Terror is better in WDW.

I also liked the Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, and Roger Rabbit car rides. Oh and Mr. Toad! I don't really remember the one from WDW so it was cool to see what it was like.

I'm still very bitter It's A Small World was closed, we NEED to go back when it's open.

We did pretty much everything save for the treehouse, astro orbitor, star tours, and something like gadget's go coaster.
No time! Much too short of a trip, we definitely need to visit again.

(you probably won't get this) Do you still walk like this all day every day?

That sounds like a fun trip :) Sorry about the heatstroke and the scooter though, that sucks.
I'm going to Disneyland in *checks ticker* 11 days! I can't wait, and every trip report I read makes me more and more psyched. Yeah, I really didn't want to do Universal Studios Hollywood on this trip. I've heard mixed things, but I just didn't really want to go. We're going to Sea World one of the days though, which is cool.
Anyways, glad you liked Disneyland!

Sounds like you had a pretty good time! So, how have you been feeling?
