We are having a little afternoon rain shower so I figured I'd put up a posting. I have to say the crowds are a little larger than I was expecting. We did mk yesterday (am emh) and it worked out great! We did dumbo, snow white, peter pan and small world with no wait. Winnie the pooh was broken. Sit down meals are packed, but adr's are working out great! Any questions? I'll be on until the storm passes. Then it's off to stromalong bay

From one storm to another! Thanks for the update.

Can you let us know if you do a MK evening EMH? Would love to hear about crowds, wait during the emh as well as last afternoon.

was just wondering if the temps and humidity is still bad? I'm finishing up my packing and really don't want to drag along more than I absolutely need to. So, yes or no for the following?...

long pants? or capris??

mister fans??

bug spray??

Thank you and enjoy the swim.

Capris or shorts for sure its still in the upper 80's

Mister fans if you normally use them, we dont and have been just fine.

Bug spray, bugs arent that bad since have had much rain for the mosquitos to nest and lay more.

Also remember this weekend is going to be bussier than next due to the opening weekend of F&W

We just got back yesterday. You could tell by the end of the week crowds were picking up for MNSSHP and F&W -- Epcot was PACKED Thursday evening!

HAVE NICE TRIP!

We're here now, too !! - taking a break before Party for the Senses and checking up on the new MNSSHP info. MK was as quiet as I've ever seen it on thursday - people said the parks had been very quiet the whole week. Yesterday Epcot was manageable and the lines for F&W booths were nonexistent during the day, then about 10 - 20 minutes last night - we ate and ate - our favs were maple glazed salmon and cheddar cheese soup at Canada, choc creme brulee at France, smoked salmon and flourless choc cake with irish whiskey sauce at Ireland, pot stickers at China - all the wine (except honey wine at Poland :crazy2: ) was good - fiesta margaritas were particularly good (and full sized!) - but, I thought the crab cake at America was awful and the corn/lobster chowder not much better. Kansas still sounded great - DH and I got a kick out of the EMT cart with full sized stretcher and life-saving equipment sitting at the entrance ready to go - we wondered if it was for the band, or for us 'aging' fans ;) !! DH and I spoiled ourselves rotten on the Breathless cruise last night - AWESOME is all I can say - our FL friends had a medical crisis that kept them from joining us, so we enjoyed some 'alone' time together!! Spent this morning at MGM - RnR was down all morning, making the ToT lines a little longer - we grabbed FPs and did the backlot tour for the first time in years - some new stuff out - then to noon showing of L/M/Action - delayed about 20 minutes for the downpour, but then went on without a hitch. Took some pics with the characters on Mickey Ave as they were just standing around with no one in line - JoJo, Donald and, or course, Sorcerer Mickey. RnR up on our way out of the park- walked on with FP - then a quick light lunch at Tubbi's and now resting our feet (and bellies) for tonight. Rest of the gang arrives to join us tomorrow - I expect it will get quite crowded this week - been trying for days to get an ADR to LeCellier for DD and BF and they are no longer taking ADRs for any night this coming week. I'm sure they'll find a spot somewhere, but that was their first request. Weather is hot (88-90) but still not as humid as summer - there have been a lot of easterly breezes that help - and if you step into the shade you can cool off a bit - shorts, capris at night - I've seen people in long sleeves and pants, but I don't know how they can stand it. OK - back to my wonderful vacation - I'll have the computer for one more day and then it goes home with DH - hope to see some of you next week !! :smooth:

These abbreviations are going to be the death of me! What the heck is EMH? I've tried to figure if out before asking, I promise.

Edited to add: ARGHH!! EXTRA MAGIC HOURS! Of course!

For checking in hope storm is gone now and your back to having fun. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

Gosh! I wish I'd known you were at Epcot last night. DD and I were there to see Kansas. I would have loved to have talked to you!

That would have been great, Peggy !! I was really missing you last week as I was making up my own 'birthday basket' to mail down to Portofino for DNeph's birthday - it was hard work, girl !!! - hope you're enjoying some 'down' time!We may swing over early tonight, too, to hear the beginning of the concert, which we missed - I was really impressed with how great they still sounded - and still a bunch of 'long hairs', too - God bless 'em!! ;)
PS: I was just going to say how much your DDs BF looks like Elijah Wood - then I noticed the caption! - they make a really cute couple !! :smooth:
