We're here now, too !! - taking a break before Party for the Senses and checking up on the new
MNSSHP info. MK was as quiet as I've ever seen it on thursday - people said the parks had been very quiet the whole week. Yesterday Epcot was manageable and the lines for F&W booths were nonexistent during the day, then about 10 - 20 minutes last night - we ate and ate - our favs were maple glazed salmon and cheddar cheese soup at Canada, choc creme brulee at France, smoked salmon and flourless choc cake with irish whiskey sauce at Ireland, pot stickers at China - all the wine (except honey wine at Poland

) was good - fiesta margaritas were particularly good (and full sized!) - but, I thought the crab cake at America was awful and the corn/lobster chowder not much better. Kansas still sounded great - DH and I got a kick out of the EMT cart with full sized stretcher and life-saving equipment sitting at the entrance ready to go - we wondered if it was for the band, or for us 'aging' fans

!! DH and I spoiled ourselves rotten on the Breathless cruise last night - AWESOME is all I can say - our FL friends had a medical crisis that kept them from joining us, so we enjoyed some 'alone' time together!! Spent this morning at MGM - RnR was down all morning, making the ToT lines a little longer - we grabbed FPs and did the backlot tour for the first time in years - some new stuff out - then to noon showing of L/M/Action - delayed about 20 minutes for the downpour, but then went on without a hitch. Took some pics with the characters on Mickey Ave as they were just standing around with no one in line - JoJo, Donald and, or course, Sorcerer Mickey. RnR up on our way out of the park- walked on with FP - then a quick light lunch at Tubbi's and now resting our feet (and bellies) for tonight. Rest of the gang arrives to join us tomorrow - I expect it will get quite crowded this week - been trying for days to get an ADR to LeCellier for DD and BF and they are no longer taking ADRs for any night this coming week. I'm sure they'll find a spot somewhere, but that was their first request. Weather is hot (88-90) but still not as humid as summer - there have been a lot of easterly breezes that help - and if you step into the shade you can cool off a bit - shorts, capris at night - I've seen people in long sleeves and pants, but I don't know how they can stand it. OK - back to my wonderful vacation - I'll have the computer for one more day and then it goes home with DH - hope to see some of you next week !!
