I'm at the POP Century / POR now!!!

Congrats on the towel animal! :) I am going to miss your reports when you finally go back home! We have too much cold and snow here anyways... you might want to just keep staying at Disney! LOL

Thank you for keeping us all abreast to the goings on at Disney and the resorts. Your message count is huge! You're keeping many of us entertained, informed, and in "the world!"

We are leaving for our first ever stay at Pop in the morning. Your reports have been wonderful! Thank you so much for taking time out of your vacation to help us!

By the way I am originally from Southern Michigan myself

Go Blue!

DH had done it many times in the past. It was scary for the girls, but they liked it when it was over. Me, I kept my 50's Prime Time Cafe lunch down so I was pleased. Since we had done everything at MGM at least once this trip and the park was jam packed, we decided to honor our DD's request to go back to swim in the resort's pools.

DD's tried quiet pool by bldg 16 this afternoon, but it was too cold. They found the main pool much warmer. The CM's had said at check-in that they were all the same temp, but they weren't. They loved the 5' depth and slide, but they still have great memories of POP pools and the extremely friendly and playful lifeguards there. The temps in those pools kept them very warm even in the cooler weather and rain.

The POR food court was extremely crowded tonight and the wait to order food was long, but that's okay when your food is good and hot. There was plenty of seating for eating. We pretty much ordered the same food as our previous dinner as we had enjoyed it so much. The portions are generous and we forgot to share. We couldn't finish. We haven't tried their pizza yet, but it is made to order. I've seen people leave the food court with mutiple pizzas to go so they must be good. They've even taken their take out pizzas over to the lounge.

The temps have been better. Each day a little warmer than the previous. At lunch time it's really hot, but it quickly cools to where you'd want long sleeves.

Our room in bldg 16 has been nice and quiet. Much better than our original in bldg 27.

we'll have to touch base and exchange names to see if we see each other...
only bummer about the Resorts are you don't know your room # when you book, like you do on the DCL ships.
I like knowing exactly where I am going to be...
I have a 14yo DS and a 15 yo brother who will be going too!
Too neat, thx for letting me know.

Lovebond,

We'll probably arrive around noon on the 18th, just look for a quiet man
around 50 ish and a very quiet 13 yo boy..........and a wild crazy wife and
mother. Can't wait.....we'll have to try and exhange more info as we get into
the single digits.
