Hi. I check in every day at the mousesavers homepage and then boogie on over here to see the latest threads. Occasionally I'll pop over to Deb's site and a few other smaller sites, but lately I've found that like most addicts I need a bigger and bigger fix. Can you guys direct me to any sites that help you stop the shakes. I'm not interested in any of the ones that only fuss about WDW. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Personally, I get my fix here. When I start needing a trip really badly and I get Disney Depression I submerge myself in the trip reports board. It gives me a more detailed taste of WDW.

I agree! ;) You go to the same sites I do, I LOVE Deb's and hang out here. I LOVE to read trip reports, just gets me more excited. The reality is we are addicts!! :teeth: And only other DISNEY addicts will ever really relate to us, so we gotta stick together!! Have fun and get yourself on down there before you explode!! :moped: :wave2:

We do this board and the Debs' site regularly. But you might want to give Jennifer and Dave Marx's Passporter boards a gander, too. They've got a pretty fanatical discussion board population of their own.

I also find I get a fix from listening to Live365 radio, the Park Hopper station to listen to music around the parks.

SUS - how do you listen to Live365?? I never heard of it before. I would love to listen to park music! I was there only 6 weeks ago and I need, no I must go back soon! :moped:

what's the address for Deb's and the passporter boards?

Deb's site: http://www.allears.net
Passporter site: http://www.passporter.com
Second the recommendation of wdwmagic.com. Lots of info there.

Re: www.live365.com
You need to have windows media player or realplayer installed on your pc. Go to the website, and up in the search box, type in 'disney'. You should get quite a few stations. Then just click on the 'listen' button. I add the ones I like to my "presets". My faves are Park Hopper and D-Magic radio. There are commercials, but if you pay for the premium service, these are eliminated.

Good luck~

how much do you have to pay for this service? Do you have to download anything? I can't download at work... :sad2:

It's free unless you upgrade to the premium package. It's great to go to the website, pick your station and then minimize it and have it playing in the background. Makes work so much more enjoyable! ;)

I am so glad I am not the only one who checks Mousesavers everyday and has to check on the boards for new information all of the time. :earboy2: Addicted or obsession, what ever it is called, I have it. I have read these boards (lurking) for my last two trips and have been reading and reading them, and finally posting some, for this trip. If ever a code comes out I will probably be beside myself with excitement. :teeth: I know when the announcement was made of the Magic Your Way, I was so excited to read everything that I was probably driving my DH crazy. ;)

I AM driving my DH crazy! I check this board a few times a day... even at work if I get a chance, I'm so addicted! I've been planning this trip only about 2 months now. DH is sucik of hearing about WDW, I remind him every AM of how many dies until we leave!!!

Yup, I am an addict too. Can't help it. Don't think I have gone a day in months without checking these boards at least a couple times a day. My kids just dont understand what it is I am looking at all the time. They look at me like I am crazy. Sometimes DH thinks I am a little off too. Oh well, they just dont get it. :confused3 .

My plane leaves in the morning at 8:00 and instead of sleeping I am checking the boards for any late breaking news. I will be going to Hard Rock Live on Saturday to see my daughter's High School cheer team perform but for the most part I am on my own. First trip in 19 years without a husband or children. :flower:

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I've been out around the web checking them out. For some reason I can't get the live disney sounds radio to play but I think that may be because our home computer only has dial up connection. (We live in a rural area-can't get high speed.) But now I'm excited about heading into work so that I can try it there.

If anybody knows of any other good sites, please let us know.

Hi, my name is Bubba and I'm a Disneyholic.

I first started doing Disney by watching TV. I could quit anytime I wanted. Well, my cravings became stronger. I needed to move to the harder stuff. Trips to WDW. I was doing OK with a fix every couple of years. Then I quit. Went cold turkey. Was on the wagon. Had 14 YEARS of Disney sobriety, then I fell in with the wrong crowd. Now, thanks to DW, my enabler-in-chief, I need it every year. Oh well... I'm resigned to life as a Disneyholic.
