Sadly me too. I've been spending a whole world of time doing homework, preparing for final exams,
cleaning up tornado damage, and spending time with friends in real life. I only log on to ride the dark rides while I'm doing my homework..

actually recently i haven't really felt the urge to go on vmk i have not logged on today yet and i'm gonna try to spend a whole day without it. i think the only reason i'mm not so addictedis that i'm so busy with finals and my schools talent show. Congrats to the not addicted ppl!

The easiest way to get rid of a computer addiction is to get a really bad grade in a course that the teacher has to have a conference with your parents and saying that if you continue getting those grades she'll boot you out of the normal pace class and put you in the slower pace class. Ever since the Christmas holidays I've been barely going on there. It was really easy to get rid of it but it's pretty dangerous because you don't want to get a danger grade..now I'm all A's but I miss hanging out with my VMK friends. Well isn't that life? can't always have everything..

What has helped my addiction is the fact that I have to do lesson plans, grade 59 book reports, and research applying for grad school. The realization that I'll still have to do those things even after VMK closes (I'm still about that) kind of makes me prioritize.

Of course, that's NOT to say that I still want to kick someone because it's closing. Like everyone else has said ... why not AFTER school? If you really really really have to close, why not in July? Let us have part of the summer! Let us enjoy the time withOUT having to worry about the school year! Would it really have hurt them financially if they kept it open for another month or two???

I know, I don't want it to close..especially summer, lots of people come on and its fun to make all these summer quests and all.
Why couldn't they atleast have it maybe on certain days of the week? Like every Saturday and Sunday atleast keep the game on, they wouldn't need as many people to work for it if it's just two days..That wouldn't be so fun too, being just two days, but two is better then none here.

Ever since I subscribed for PotCO I've been playing VMK less and less... I guess it's good because when I have to face reality on May 22nd when there's no VMK, I won't be too bummed because I have other friends in other places. I don't think I've logged onto VMK for about 2-3 weeks. I'll go on on the last day, but I'm kind of just oblivious to everything else happening VMK-wise.
