I'm so sorry...my search is not working! :(

Short and simple...I'm looking for a lightweight stroller that reclines (somewhat) and has a basket underneath. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

We bought the Kolcraft LiteRider (think that's right) back in 2001, and it's great. Reclines, has basket underneath, and canopy - was about $40. Hopefully it's still available - got it at Babies R Us.

Good luck!

We just bought a Safety First stoller from Walmart. Aluminum, Multi-position recline, big basket, cup holder for child and parent.
It was $55; I saw similar strollers made by Cosco or Baby Trend at Babies R Us and online for about $40 but they were smaller (my son is large for his age) and the seat was only 2 position recline (so upright or flat no middle position). The only negative with the Safety First stroller is that the head room is very short. DS only has about an inch or so before he hits the canopy. But like I said he is tall for his age. I still bought it because I know it will be perfect for this trip and another vacation planned (not Disney) in the fall.

We have a Maclaren that we use for everyday has a multi-position recline and he sleeps incredible well in it so I wanted to get a similar style. The only reason we are not taking it with us at the end of the month is that the canopy and basket are at Maclaren and being repaired as we speak.

Combi makes some travel strollers that fold small and are lightweight. They recline, have a canopy and a SMALL basket underneath.. no snack tray.

Century/Greco make a great lightweight stroller that can be found fo 50-60 bucks. My Century Capri (3 years old) reclines, has a full hood, big basket and snap off treys for you and your tot. I can easily tote it in one hand.

We just got a BABYtrend Eurotrend stroller that is similar to the MaClaren stroller. It was $59 at Babies R Us. It reclines with 3 positions, has a canopy, has a basket and holds up to 45 pounds(I think).

With our son being 2 1/2 and him being at wdw 3 times we found the bell 3 wheeler to be the best. I t folds easily, not as easy an the umbrella type, but after a long day in the park this rolls so nice and smooth and absorbs many bumps. It has a hood and a rain cover and a basket underneath. Cost *99 costco.

I bought a Babytrend Trendsport, which is 17.5 lbs, but has the cupholders, nice canopy. Is this too heavy?

We got a Schwinn stroller on Strollers4less.com it's a deluxe umbrella. We loved it. It's set up like an umbrella stroller (folds like one too) but reclines, has a canopy, basket under neath and a little baskety thing attached to the bars. Oh, the handle bars also raise up 5 positions, great for any tall pushers! Strollers4less.com is a great website for almost any name brand stroller too. Have a look.
