Happy Thursday Wanderers. . .I really got nothing for ya', but wanted to bump this back up and keep it in our view.

The only thing happening with me right now is trying to work through whether to add a June Disney trip with our kids. Last year we told them it was absolutely the last year we would be paying, but airfare is great ($128), hotel rooms at Swan very reasonable, and Ron/I have APs that are burning a hole in my pocket.

Aside from that, October is a long way off and I'm in need of something nearer to look forward to with this crappy weather.

What's up with y'all?

We're kind of in the same predicament. I want to go in June to surprise my DD for her 9th birthday but I'm worried about the heat The kids play and stay free deal is out and so is the military discount and cheap tickets. So either way it is a good deal. BUT the heat keeps making me second guess myself!

June is my favorite month! Then again, we all love that heat and it makes for a great afternoon of lounging poolside.

I think my kids would love hanging out by the pool. But my Dad is coming too and he would probably not do so well in the heat. We took him in September and he was really hot!

Not much in this neck of the woods... except LOOK! I've got a ticker now! Dec. 11-17 at the Boardwalk! My BFF and her mom invited me to join them just before Christmas. I'm going. Without kids!

I was going to say that I've been at both times and neither impressed me as being ridiculously hot. Then again, we get out early, have lunch somewhere and meander back for a lovely afternoon poolside to enjoy the heat. June and September can be pretty warm.

That sounds like a lovely plan! Right now I am dreaming of warm weather.

I've never made it down in June... we always did early spring or fall.

This past September, we started sweating about 50 feet from our resort door. And it didn't stop all day. No amount of moisture-wicking clothes could help. The humidity was insanely high this year. It was 95*/90% our whole week.

I don't mind the heat, I actually prefer it to the current temperatures. And I did a summer in Arizona. Frankly, I'd take Arizona's heat to Florida's... not much humidity there!

By the way, Disney on Ice Presents Toy Story 3 is such a cute little show! 9 of us went on Saturday and the kids were glued to the ice!
