Life's been a little, ok a lot, stressful this month so I decided to treat the kids and myself to dinner out last night. We went to Texas Roadhouse where 11yo DS ordered a half slab of ribs and sucked them dry! They weren't busy for a Friday night and we saw about 4 families we knew. We had a great dinner and enjoyed each others company. As we finished dinner I noticed it had started to get busy and there was a line for the tables now. I tried to get the kids gathered up and out the door and as I am leaving our waitress flags me down. I had forgotten to pay the bill!! How in the world I didn't remember I will never know. I added a nice tip for the waitress since she probably thought I tried to stiff her. I blame it on the stress. Yes officer you see I've had a really long week ....

Ohhh, cool, well at least you added the nice tip BUT I thought you were going to say that you ended up getting someone else's bill, paid that, and realized when you got home it was not yours and it was less than 1/2 of what yours would have been???

Oh goodness...I have left without paying the bill!!!:scared1: My hubby and I were drinking a few beers with friends and when everyone left...I guess our minds were in neverland. We had been home about 2 hours when it DAWNED on me (probably about the time the buzz wore off :lmao: ) and we hightailed it back to the restaurant. I was so embarrassed and really, really tipped great for that horrible blunder.

That is something I can see myself doing accidently. Trying to get the kids ready and thinking about something else. I haven't done it yet, but I wouldn't put it past me.

This happened to me at Donald's Breakfastsaurus at Animal Kingdom! I filled out the tip and total on the receipt and forgot to sign the slip! Our server came running out of the restaurant after us. I was so embarrassed!

Oh my!!! :lmao: :scared1: :lmao:

Stress can make you flighty...and so can lack of sleep! Kinda the same, but not really, just last Thursday at MGM - we were on the dining plan at Sci-Fi, ate dinner, my son orders an Apple Crisp and I asked about a Sugar-Free dessert (for me...) The waitress goes and checks, comes back "The chef can make you up a Sugar Free Brownie, if you can give it just a few minutes" I said - sure!!! She then brought the thingee to sign, and..........

I get up, leave.... went to the Great Movie Ride (keep in mind, my son is with too) It wasnt until we got OFF that ride that I turned to Danny....OMG! We didnt wait for dessert!! DOH!! :confused3

We were a smidge tired, and overwhelmed.... At least *we* paid though! :lmao:

At least our server wasn't one of my former students. How embarassing would that have been! None of the were working last night that I know of. This is the kids favorite place to eat so I hope they will let me come back.

So that's how Bobcat saves for WDW! ;)

(BTW, when is your next trip????)

:lmao:

I could totally see myself doing that. Stress does some bad things to the memory! They are going to keep an eye on you the next time you eat there. ;)

I can see it now ... kids I'll distract our server and you dash out the front door, I'll be right behind you. Remember this is so that we can eat with Mickey so don't let anyone distract you from your goal. :rotfl2:

Hoping to go back in August again. We have to plan around the kids schedules so fair week is the only time they don't have any sports practices. That is unless I'm in jail for bolting on another bill. LOL

Ohhh...the Texas Roadhouse ribs and filet combo with those yummy rolls:cloud9: . I wish we didn't have to drive 30 min to get to one.
