I'm a snuggiologist

DD got one from Justice, and she keeps it on 24/7 when she is in the house. DH makes fun of her- "Everyone has a Snuggie already- it's a robe put on backwards!!" Now, I want one for winter soccer practice. It gets cold sitting out there on the field.

I wanna join!!! I saw the TV advert when I was out there last December and wanted one but had no US shipping address. They are so expensive over in the UK, they just not have not caught on here. I must find a supplier to become a snuggiologist!!! :worship::worship:

Thank you for this thread it has made me laugh out load!! :rotfl2:

I have two cats and I was thinking of getting one of them a Snuggie (the extra small dog size would fit her perfectly). I would only get one because I only have one normal cat. The other cat would scratch the retinas out from both of my eyeballs if I ever tried to put a single article of clothing on her.

I think you have your cats mixed up. The normal one is the one that would scratch your eyeballs if you dressed her. The cat that would wear the Snuggie is the odd one.

My dh wants a Snuggie for Christmas. He'll be finding one under the tree. :goodvibes Maybe I'll try it on to see what it's like.

For some reason, the whole Snuggie Crazy makes me :lmao:.

I think my 2.5 year old would like a Snuggie ... he loves to be "cozy".

I take offense to your husband's statement. He obviously is not well versed in Snuggiology. If he was, he would know that it is not a backwards robe. It's a blanket with sleeves. He's probably just jealous of your daughter's Snuggie.

:lmao::lmao::rotfl2: I hadn't thought of it that way.

OK that is it, since I have seen this posting I have gone in search of Snuggies in UK, I start in ebay and only found rip off ones with bad comments in the feedback, then I have found a company who are selling them at over $50 for same offer as the US site two snuggies with the lite, but over double the price.

Is there any honest person out there who will take paypal and ship me the buy one get one free snuggie offer. I will deposit $30 in paypal for payment, if shipping to UK is more than $10 then I will pay that on arrival.

If anyone else has a better idea than the over priced people I have tried please let me know.

Me and my DH want to become snuggiologist!!!

I bought one for my mother - she complains that she's cold, but she can't read if she's got a blanket over her! I bought a green one...it will go nicely in the room where she'll be sitting...

For anyone who's interested, they have football team themed Snuggies (fake) at Kohls.com. I bought Snuggies for everyone in my family this year for Christmas, including the 2 dogs! I think that they will be a hit in our house, dorky or not!

You are seriously making me want to try a Snuggie. I eye them at EVERY store (every store has them from the grocery store to the drugstore) and I think... "never", but I secretly want one. I really wanted one yesterday when I crawled onto the couch to take a nap.

This thread is making me laugh so hard I almost fell out of my Snuggie:goodvibes I bought one as a joke for my dd right before we went on vacation this summer. I ended up wearing the stupid thing every morning while drinking my tea on the front porch of the hotel....it was either wear the Snuggie or a bra and the Snuggie won:rotfl: After that I was a convert!! I bought them for everyone for Christmas............Snuggie Christmas Everyone!

Oh good gosh, what an image. I want to put the EEK emoticon, but keep picturing your cat and that emoticon's wide eyes.

That said, I think I'm a convert to the idea. They had one on display at our Fred Meyer (Kroger store), and after feeling it I will NOT be getting an actual snuggle (tm), but DS liked the feel and he is indeed getting one (toys r us had them for 14.99 with the socks!). I found something at brylanehome that's a sort of sherpa microfleece combo that might feel better to me, it'll be my Yule present. :)

As you said, it's a blanket with sleeves, what could be better???

Although...it's my *hands* that get so cold, but reading with my Kindle with gloves on would be too slippery...

So true!
This is one of the reasons I am a Slanketeer.
There is no Snuggie confusion.
A Slanket is obviously a SLeeved blANKET. Whereas a Snuggie could be anything.

My DD 12 will be getting one from Santa this year, but guess what? She asked for it.:lmao:

My 13 yo did too....and she's getting one....the cheetah...as they didn't have the zebra one.

I keep telling him that he's wrong. :rotfl: I just hope he gets me one for Christmas!!

Oh, and we have 3 cats, none of whom would allow us to even attempt to Snuggify them.

I have the precursor to the Snuggie: It's bigger, better, softer, and has a cooler name! It's the Slanket! Seriously, dh's mom got me one from QVC a few years ago and it blows the Snuggie out of the water. Unfortunately, they never made dog Slankets, so if Fido wants to have his paws free to read, he'll have to use the Snuggie!

I love my Snuggies. Yup, you heard me, Snuggies, plural. I got one for my birthday back in June, and I purposely would turn the air conditioner on higher so I could sit with the Snuggie. It's fabulous. Then, when I was in Century 21, I saw polka dot fake ones in a really nice fabric, not fleecey like the Snuggie, but very cozy. Considering I have a polka dot addiction, I couldn't resist. So now I have 2. My entire family thinks I'm nuts, I just think I'm smarter than the rest of them.
