I am also playing the waiting game (different problem with my DD)...I hear your pain!!

It's tough knowing just enough to get freaked, but not enough to wrap your mind around it and get on with the next stage....fixing it!!!

I am just reminding myself that the chances are that it is way less of a problem than I can conjure up in my overanxious mind...and 9 chances out of 10...it is minor and can be fixed easily

you are in my thoughts and prayers...hope you have good news soon

Update.
Went to the doctor yesterday afternoon. He told me he seriously doubts that I've got the C word although he's seen people younger than me with it. However they usually come in with no symptoms. He thinks it's chronic prostatitis. He also said though that it's very unusual for a person my age to have any of these kinds of problems so he wants to do a bunch of stuff to find out if there is anything structurally wrong. I am going to be poked and prodded quite a bit. Oh joy. It was nice to hear him say, "assume it's not cancer until we've proved otherwise." I also found he had a dry sense of humor: Handing me a 4 ounce cup to get a semen sample he commented, "you don't have to fill it completely." I certainly hope not.
