are they doing anything special... i know when wdw had its 25 all the parks decorated for it

I have heard nothing other than 55. It will be interesting as time approaches summer.

You never know. My friend and I were there for the 50th. We got in line at around 1 a.m. I believe and there were already approximately 3,000 people ahead of us. It was very organized and the CM's gave us colored wrist bands in groups of 100, so that no one could get in front of you in line. It was truly a magical day, free hats and cupcakes. And yes the park was decorated for the entire year. With DL opening in 1955, and this being the 55th annaversary I suspect something special. I have already made my hotel reservations. So we will just see what happens on July 17th.
