I don't get the attraction, to me its like looking at my nephew and his friends and they are just kids.
My dd however is in love with Edward, who I agree with a pp, I think he's odd looking.
Yeah, I gasped fairly loudly when he took his shirt off, but fortunately so did most of the theater.
My dh jokes with me and will say "there's your werewolf boy" anytime he sees him on tv or in a magazine. I didn't realize at the time how young he was, so I feel a little bad about my reaction (I'm 36).
In the theater there was a collective AHHHH! When Jacob took off his shirt. When Edward started to - there was the initial AH That quickly turned to EWWWW.
Teenage girls though- the group of 40 year old moms I went with all kept our comments to ourselves.
Yeah, I just see Sharkboy. Then again, I've never been one to lust after any celebrity (unless you count all the poser metal band guys when I was 13 ).
I don't think I was attracted to seventeen year old boys even when I was seventeen. And I don't find him attractive at all, though he may be very nice.
