Check-out day
We had bought souvenir mugs for the free refills at the food court beverage station, so we decided to use them one more time before we left. We all liked the raspberry iced tea
We left All Stars Movies Fantasia at 11am and headed to DTD.
Browsed through the World of Disney, strolled the shopping area then set off for some outlet stores
Didnt find any deals so we continued on to our next accommodation (my timeshare at Oak Plantation, Kissimmee) picked up some groceries on the way at the Super Wal-Mart on Hwy 192 (that place is always busy
) and finally got to check-in at around 2pm.
Even though we were no longer staying on Disney property, we still had lots of Quick & Casual vouchers to use up, so we decided to go again to Coronado Springs resort to the Pepper Market. My DD noticed that the gate guard at the resort was the same as the previous time, and wondered if he recognized her. He was VERY nice.
We had been to Pepper Market on a previous trip in 2004 and at that time had a waitress who hovered around and couldnt wait for the plates to become empty before scooping them up. We named her The Vulture.
Normally, we like to have attentive service for things such as refilling drinks etc, but this waitress watched our every move and we felt very uncomfortable.
At this visit to Pepper Market we couldnt believe it, she was still working there!!!
OMG, She watched us again. We know that Q&C vouchers have the tip included, but this waitress wants extra, once again we felt uncomfortable. After supper, we browsed the gift shop (always looking for that little something thats different from the other places) then headed back to the timeshare.
Oh well, even though we didnt do Parks we still had some Disney in our day.
