Help!!! This is the first time we will be doing something like this so we want to know which cruise we should do. I believe we are renting a Pontoon boat so it will be wheelchair accessible for my DD. Any Advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!! :boat:

Thanks for the info!!! I was wondering if you knew how far in advance the cruises can be booked???? :thanks:

I'll throw in my vote for the Wishes cruise..... I did it last May with some other Dis'ers who had room for me and it was AMAZING. They can be booked 90 days in advance by calling (407)-WDW-PLAY.

you cannot brong your own food and drinks
they do sell packages and they will provide the food and drinks
we had a birthday cruise in august - it came with water and a cake
maybe some soda but im not sure
my friend had beer in a cup - she was almost finished and the captain
asked her to throw it out
i have read other posts that they were allowed to bring drinks and food on board
our cruise was a wishes cruise out of the contemporary
we had a great time

Thanks for the info. It will be my DH Bday so maybe I will find out about the BDay cake. Thanks for the idea!!!! :thumbsup2

Also, how did you get so lucky as to have a girls only trip to WDW?????? I'm jealous!! :rotfl:

For extra $$ you can turn the cruise into a "birthday cruise". Our pontoon had a big banner on side and they provided the cake.

It was reported here a while back that they cite "alergy reaction avoidance" as a reason for not being able to bring your own food aboard.

That sounds great !!!!I will have to give a call and find out about it. My DH hates making a big deal about his Bday so I love doing this like this to him :rotfl:

I just made reservations for the Wishes cruise and was told NO bringing your own drinks/food on board.

They can as someone else said, arrange for anything you want to be brought on board, for a price.
(Such as champagne, fruit, anything!)

As part of the price increase (Oct 1 2005, I believe), you receive a "snack pack" (my term) of soft drinks, chips, popcorn, etc. They can give you a detailed list.
