What is the best spot (within Epcot) to view Illuminations? Is there a restaurant with the best view where PS for Dinner can be made? Thank you!

We have stood at various places around the lake (or is it a lagoon?) and have never had a bad seat, really. Well, unless you're standing where the wind is blowing the smoke. We just avoid the direction the wind is blowing that night and we are pretty good.

There are very few restaurants that overlook it, the counter service in Mexico does if you can snag a seat there early. Rose and Crown, I think, does... That's all that comes to mind off the top of my head.

If I shared my favorite spot to see Illuminations then everyone would go there and I wouldn't be able to see.
Honestly though, my favorite place to watch Illuminations is to the left of the Margarita booth. Great view of the entire lake and no trees to block the air show. Plus, it's only steps from the Margaritas. Peggie

Stand where the smoke "ain't." We usually watch between Germany and Italy. :)

Wrong person to ask here, doesn't matter where I am looking at fireworks, I always have too many trees in the way!! I believe that the Rose and Crown has a good spot, they have stopped taking requests for outdoor seats(I sould be wrong though always worth asking), so it's a first come first served basis..however they will allow diners to stand up and go out on the terrace to watch. Also the Cantina de San Angel in Mexico has water views which would have a pretty good view too..again a first some first served basis I would imagine.
