Illuminations - Rose & Crown PS Time

What time should I make PS for Rose & Crown to be there for Illuminations?

I made ours for 8pm (with Illuminations at 9:30). I've read anywhere from 1.5 to 1.25 hrs. should be adequate.

7:50 has worked for us BUT...there are no guarantees you will be seated outside
