Illuminations + La Hacienda what to do

I have two 7 person reservations for la hacienda the first sat of food and wine
one for 715 and one for 745pm which reservation should i keep so that we can get a table at the window and watch the fireworks ?????

do you think that would increase my chances of getting a windows seat and being able to stay through illuminations. I wasnt sure if they would all be gone by then or something

I read that 0:45-1:15 before Illuminations is the best time to get your ADR. Ask for a window seat and say you are willing to wait for one.

I am not speaking from personal experience, just the suggestions of others.

It's going to be busy because that's the first Saturday of F&W. Also, IllumiNations will be at 10:00 so a 7:45 res means being there for over 2 hours.

Almost everyone asks for a window table to view IllumiNations so there's no way to guarantee that you will get one even if you're willing to wait. It depends on how busy the restaurant is...whether the host/hostess is allowing people to wait or if they say you'll have to take the next available table...how many people ahead of you are already waiting if they're allowing it...

I was just wondering how you know it will be 10 disboards and a few of the other sites say 9...is there some hidden rule i dont know....btw i def could see disney moving it to ten do u have a official link or something

You can check park hours and when parades or fireworks shows are on the wdw website. The original post specifically asked about the first saturday of F&W which is 9-29. For that day, Illuminations is at 10pm. Here's a link to Epcot's calendar for 9-29.

well i found a 9pm for 7 hopefully that works and we are able to get a table for the fireworks. I am thinking it might be ok because all those 7 o clock people should be heading out around then
we will see
I am very assertive when i want something so i am hoping it pays off for this

Just to add - if you get a window table, which is definitely "iffy", you will have a view of Illuminations.

What you will not have is a *good* view of Illuminations.

Also, from what I can remember, the larger tables are in the middle of the room, so the chances of being seated next to the window with more than six might be even less.
