Illuminations Globe is back

Great news the Earth Globe is back at Illuminations. Can't say its one of my favourite parts of the show but I'm looking forward to seeing it again. There are going to be some fireworks at Plasure Island this month too on 18th Sept, something to do with the Pyrothechnics Convention. Here's where I read it,there's also video of the new Earth.

The updated globe looks great. I saw it last night, the images are so much cleaner, clearer.... Although none of the images has changed, it's much easier to see and very bright. So the show is 100% back to normal, the additional effects and fireworks added while the globe was being rehabbed are gone.

The globe is one cool bit of technology. Good to hear its been upgraded.

i was at disney at the end of August and did not even realize that the globe was gone....silly me

I would have flipped out if the globe was gone! Good thing it's back!

Uhh, saw it this past Saturday, and I'm not sure what is supposed to be diffrent about it. Looked like the same old globe to me......

The images are so much clearer, especially the famous faces, they almost look 3-D
It was a sorely needed rehab that has surprising results.
