Illuminations from CBR?

Hi--we're going the end of Feb. and are so excited. I thought I read some place that you can see Illuminations from the beaches at CBR. Is that correct? And if so, how well?

You can see some of the higher fireworks.Most of illuminations takes place on World Showcase lagoon which is not visible.You also will not hear most of it .

Agreed with the PP that you can only see the highest fireworks. We stayed in Jamaica in 2008, outside our room you could see the fireworks and here the soundtrack. I really enjoyed coming out of the room to watch the nights we came home early. It's a nice little perk for staying at a mod.
I'm not sure about what beaches though, since the room buildings are generally between the beaches and the Epcot area.

If you go up by the Customs House you can see some of the lower ones. On a quiet night you can hear the music and watch the fireworks. It's great to be on the beach in a hammock watching them.

Sit/stand anywhere where you have an unobstructed view facing north. I saw some of them by accident while sitting on the steps of the Trinidad North quiet pool with my kids.

But as everyone has said, don't expect to watch a full fireworks show. You're seeing the higher and bigger ones only. You definitely don't have a front-row seat.

In other words, if you think of it as an extra added little bonus, you'll love it. But if you expect to see a dazzling fireworks show from CBR, you'll be sadly disappointed.

I'll tell you when Illuminations seen from CBR is a great thing is at Christmas. When the show is the extended holiday version and it has two grand finales. We stood on teh bridge that connects Jamaica to OPR and we could see them very well and even hear the music faintly.

From my hammock on the beach I could see them great too but couldn't hear the music. But that could have been because of the pool bar drink I was too busy sipping!
